No back story or context for the name? Just want to relate the idea of swordiness and shieldiness?
Swordy McBoardy.
Any thoughts on the character? Barbarian swordsman? Medieval Knight? High tech? Magic sword found in a pawnshop?
For a barbarian type character (think Conan, Kull or similar) maybe something like Baktor? Dontak?
For a magic Knight how about something on the order of Sir Magni Feeke?
It helps a lot for me anyway to have a basic idea of what the character's about to think of a name. An ordinary name frequently leads to a character I loose interest in.

When shields first hit, about the time I saw the movie 300, I created the Silver Spartan. Liked the name but eventually deleted the toon, it's free on the victory server.

My suggestion to the OP is to go search the wiki for weapon customization and shield customization, look at the options available, and see if anything leaps out as more interesting. Then name the toon around that.

At first I was thinking MasturBlader, but then I thought that maybe, just maybe I would like to be taken seriously.
For now I've named him Royal Blader, which I felt could kinda have the pun worked in but was a little less obtuse about it.
anyone got any Ideas?
