Sounds interesting ... I can roll up a new mutie for this. We'd just have to come up with a day and time that would be good for the whole group.
I'm not thinking X-Men per se, but mutants from the United States, Canada or around the world that have a common bond, being mutants. Our desire for justice will take us to as many zones as possible, the Hollows, Kings Row, Faultline, IP, Steel, and so on and I want to run missions more than radios, although we can do this for travel powers. I don't want to be the leader per se, and I am thinking of a tank of some sort, having said that, I am not big on Taunt, because I like to try and max out my tank for damage and combat.
As a goal, to show we belong as heroes, but our fear is to disclose we are mutants, so it will be an internal struggle. At level 10 I would like to start a SG, maybe call is The Agenda, or something clandestine like that. So, in retrospect, it does sound kind of X-men ish, dammit, lol. We would only allow mutants to join the group, of all powers and experience. Run some TF's when we want, run some missions for influence only(totally negotiable by the way) so we don't outlevel content, or if we do, run them in Ouroboros.
Anyone interested - tell me what type of hero you want to be, so we can try and get as varied a group as possible. I don't want to have all Def, all Trollers and so on, let's reflect a true supergroup.

By the way, when everyone does their builds, build your hero the way you want to build them, and not how you think would suit the team best. We will fight as a team, but we will all build how we want. I wanted to establish that.
Ok, tell me what class you want to be then. Hopefully 1 or 2 more people will respond. Once we have our classes, we can create our heroes, then we can establish our first meeting date.
What I thought for our first set of missions, everybody get first contact, and run through that, then on to KR or wherver a contact sends us.

If a time is settled on that allows me to attend, I'd probably bring a Gravity/Sonic controller. Been working on customization options along those lines for awhile. That, and gravity seems to work well for a telekinetic type character better than mind. But like I said, that's if things work out.

I'm game to get in on this.
I recently moved over to Virtue and Freedom after 5+ years on Justice, for a variety of reasons, one of which is to find a good, fun group to run with. I'm a very casual player due to life's demanding responsibilities, but I am a 64+ month vet who still really enjoys this game for the journey & stories of my created heroes.
I'm in the US east coast time zone and most available to start at 9pmEST at the earliest, and usually play a few nights a week from 9pm-11pm and whenever I can find time on the weekends.
I'm mostly a scrapper first, followed closely by tanker and blaster. With that said, I'd like to use this opportunity to expand my playing experience by rolling up a controller (I've only made one since July 2004!) or a Defender. I've had an idea for a plant controller swirling in my head for a few months now. However, lately I have created a couple of really fun tanks that I wouldn't mind re-rolling. I prefer the heavy defense/taunting type tanks.
I very much like running traditional missions from contacts and doing police scanner missions on occasion for the temp travel powers and to add a quick, fun side mission once in a while. Not at all into farms of any kind.

Hey, thgebull0425, I'm willing to try this with you again (you may remember me as Samandarun from Fortune's Five). Oh how I wish we already had side switching because I have a concept for a Mind/Psi dominator I would love to play as a hero.
Since we don't, however, my best choices to fit the concept would be to play, in order of preference:
Mind/Empathy Controller, or Psi/Mental Blaster - leaning towards the 'troller, but pretty much even depending on whether the team is more in need of support or damage.
Empathy/Psi Defender - a distant third.

I am proposing next Tuesday at 9pm, January 19th. All heroes should be level 1, and we should all meet at the Lvl1 contact in Atlas for mutants.
Please confirm your hero for me, type, as for powers, everybody go with what you want, just want to know tank, troller, blaster, defender and whatever for those of you who haven't decided one way or another.
How about Thursday nights at 9? I have to go to bed way early on Tuesdays because I need to be in work for 6am on Wed and that means I have to wake up at 4am ...
