Teammate Arrow Indicator is Broken

Yesterday while teamed with a friend, I notice that the Arrow indicator on my map only showed me, but did not show my teammate. I could see the "Fog of War" being cleared with no teammate indicator to account for it. I did send in a Bug Report

I didn't realize you could shut that off. Unfortunately, that wasn't it. When I checked the list of things you can shut on and off on the map, Teammates was checked on.

So, its a bug.

You can try toggling all the options off, and then back on again. Just because the UI says the option is on, doesn't mean it's not wrong. There has been a few times where I have run into situations I believe the UI has been wrong about an option, and toggling it back and forth corrected it.

Admittedly, it's been quite a while since I've encountered this myself.

Try verifying files too then. Maybe each type of arrow is a different texture and one of them is simply corrupt or missing?

Teamed up with my friend again tonight and had the same problem. Toggling it on and off like you suggested Tradok, did fix it. Thanks!

That seems to be another one of the game's problems: It doesn't remember settings for things. Last week, I was talking to someone via Tells, and it kept telling him I was offline or hidden, even though I wasn't. I last used the /hideall command about a week before I was talking to him.

Using /unhideall did nothing. I had to pull up the hide window, which showed I wasn't hidden from anything, and then accept the "changes". Suddenly, it stopped telling him I was hidden.

I've seen this also. As a quicker fix than opening the hide listing, you can just do /hideall immediately followed by /unhideall.
