Elec Armor

I have a question. I picked up electric armor and I was wondering does lightning field drain the end of your enemies and gives it to you? I picked it up because I though it would give me the end it drained...doesn't seem that way so far.

Short answer: no.
Long answer: no, see this RedTomax link. It only drains endurance from foes, nothing is transfered to the character.

Ahh great...I'll have to respect that out.

Thank you for the info

Don't know that I'd respec out of it, given that it is your taunt aura. Maybe keep it to put those post-travel power slots into it and use it again after you've got stamina. Without it you'll only have eight or ten other powers with which to generate aggro!

You'll practically be nekked!

Don't do it!

Lightening Field is your taunt aura, and a very nice source of damage over time as well. In my experience with Elec Armor, this is a must-have power.

One note about its useage is that I find that I have to toggle it on just before a fight and off afterwards when travelling to the next mob spawn to facillitate end recovery, but it is definitely worth keeping.

Err... why respec it out? You do have a power coming in at level 26 that will allow you to regain endurance fairly often. So any end drain on you that the power has, won't really matter at all.

AND the damage over time from a well slotted Lightning Field is a tremendous help.

AND then there's the fact that after you use Power Sink, LF can help keep your foes drained, thus causing them to attack you less.

AND it's your aggro aura, which helps keep foes on you, and not on your teammates.

So why not keep it?

@Rylas

Kill 'em all. Let XP sort 'em out.

Ahh. Well this is my first time using elec and well. I'm sorta a vet to the game BUT. I got my friend into. We had a fight in the arena and he ended up beating me in the first time alive. Yeah I ended up winning the match but the fact that he even beat me once when he wasn't even enhanced was pretty bad lol

lol, PvP.

Yeah, the low-damage PBAoE auras never were the PvP game-winners. Fantastic and useful in PvE, though.

It was just embarrassing lol. I would of beaten him if I would of let him mess up his katana/wp build. But i went back and made him fix it. The parry for katana moves is what kinda made me lose in the first place.

everyone already knows the +def in parry is as typical as chosin a scrapper to pvp with in the first place..only 98% of the blue side is a scrapper for crying out loud.

its as bad as being a wp/ss tank in pvp and saying your built it without pvp in mind but just happen to be in a pvp zone with it.

if this game ever makes it to yet another pvp change /ss will get nerfed harder then e.m. did.

and scrappers will also be pissed.so dont feel bad.ice tanks started the maddness and it just continues from there...only good thing is ice patch and frozen aura dont inturrpurt now and nibernub isnt forever anymore.thanks to players with no skill its just a clear way of showing how bad everything will be nerfed until its a shadow of its former self...cant wait for /ss ti get it myself.
