MA (new animations) + shield issue -- working as intended?
I sent in a bug for this a while back, but didn't really receive a reply one way or another in reference to WAI or not.
Ok thanks very much for your reply. I agree that it seems like a bug although an official response might have been nice (to your report). I might just assume it is and keep the toon for now.

It's a bug and if I vaguely remember reading about it from patch notes or a developer sometime ago that it was at least acknowledged. Guessing it's been internally fixed for a while now waiting to get into a build.

It's the same over on Brutes, or at least my SS/SD. Despite nearly every other attack involving him beating someone about the face with a giant slab of rock, the heroside KoB animation doesn't play. This is, of course, an unprecedented disaster. I don't want some weedy spinpunch, I want him to grab a slab of rock in both hands and ram it into some guy's face.

The fixes were checked in on 11/10/2009. My best guess is that these changes haven't been added to any incremental build...so keep an eye out for the next full build and hopefully it will show up then.
Yeah, I renewed my subscription about two months ago to make a SS/Shield Brute with the new animations and I've yet to see the awesomeness of the new KO blow with a shield ]:

After hearing it was fixed internally somewhere, I was surprised this didn't get fixed in any recent builds. My awesome Martial Arts/Shield scrapper has had to be put on hold. I just can't stand 100% kicks.

As far as I know, this is what's happening. I remember fixing this a while back, and I'm a bit surprised it hasn't made it into a build yet.

Heya, I just made a new MA/SD toon and I noticed that when I have any of my shield defences active, the new punch animations wouldn't play, although they work fine when they are turned off. Is this working as intended or a bug?
I'm asking because if it is working as intended, I think I'll be swapping out of SD.
