Allies question
While not a perfect solution, you can set it so your allies are in the Front portion of the map (assuming its not an outdoor map, which has no Front per se), and you can rig it so that no one is guarding them. Take care though how you set their AI, as in my experiments with this, by the time I got to them, they were already fighting, and sometimes already dead
Thanks Dr Wishbone. I will work a story angle in to cover it. Would be nice if this was made an option.
allies are really good if you make the correctly, allies that do dmg will reduce rewards of the enemies they helped kill, and most of the debuff/buff sets are very buggy with the ally AI. if you need pointers on them, can always pm me in game or on here
I just ask my question here, because it's also an allie question:
You can set an ally and you can set an trigger that he will be attack you when something happen, but did this also work on the other way, I mean I have to deafet the ally and then he will follow me? This don't work, isn't it?

So my question is also about the ally option. I would like to set my ally to buff only. I make the ally and choose the power sets. When i get to the ally settings it only gives me three options. Pacifist, Aggressive or fight defensive. I remember stumbling across "buff only" setting but i seem to be unable to recreate it ... anyone know how i can accomplish this?

Which will be the reason for there not being a button for it, even if it still can be done.
Be also aware that to the devs what you want to do reads like "I want to cheat and get lolXP for free."

you rlly have to lol @ it all tho, since ive been playing this game again it never fails to amaze me how much the devs underestimate the player of this game. ppl have ALWAYS PLed in this game, no matter what they do crafty players find a way to beat the system. in the end, who do they penalize for this? the publishers creating these maps or the ppl playing these maps? keep in mind that alot of players, and by alot i mean A LOT of players on EVERY server run these maps. i dont think penalizing the players is in the devs best interest. IMO, the devs should have known this would happen when they added AE and they only have themselves to blame.
appy-polly-loggies if i jacked the thread lol
I am new to AE and have finished my first arc. I plan to use recurring characters in the 3 available arcs and name the missions "Issue (1-15): Title", like a comic book series. The idea is that the PC is the starring member of The Avatars of Paragon and once in every arc will be joined by the other four members of the team.
My question: Is it possible to have your allies start the mission with you in the beginning rather than being spread out "captured" all over the place? I realize that players me be annoyed by having four other NPCs stealing exp but it is for story purposes, and frankly, my arcs are not meant for min-maxers.
