Thanks to everyone that came out for the first Arachnos Friday Night Jamboree & Hootenanny!
Our team included:

Widows Revenge

Operative Renoir
Granny Longlegs
We started with several BNY mishes to get some lowbies levels. Then it was on to a Cap TF and we finished up with a Zombie invasion in Shark.
Lesson learned from the first run...crank the diff...we mowed down everything...including the entire last map in the Cap TF because, well, we could. I have not done that in years.
Next run is scheduled for Feb 5th. 8 pm central at Alan Desslock in Mercy. Join the "Hootenanny" global channel with your VEAT and keep up on any changes in the MOTD.

Just a reminder that the next Hootenanny is this Friday (Feb. 5th) at 8 p.m. Central Time.
Hoping to maybe run a Shark TF but I am open to any suggestions. We simply do not have the options available to blue side so I am always looking for ideas. Are Oro TF's an option folks would like to do? Does anyone want to have an AE night worked in? Or is just leveling up by cranking through missions good for folks.
Let me know what you all want to do.

This is a great idea, and I applaud you for doing it. I wish I was on my regular account right now. *sigh*

We had to do a quick Talos Mayhem and a paper to get Bride up to level 20 then it was on to the main event and the Silver Mantis TF. An hour and forty-two minutes of pure destruction and level dings later and we all had our badge and 42 shiny new merits.
The next Hootenanny will be March 5th 8pm Central time. Tenatively thinking about a Shark TF with maybe a quick Treespec for dessert.

Reminder time. Hootenanny #3 is set for Friday March 5th, 8p.m. Central. We will meet by Alan Desslock in Mercy as usual. This will be during double XP weekend so it's a good night to bring a VEAT that needs to ding some levels.

So torn on who to bring... 50 widow for fun and shredding... 9 spider for double XP exploitation and comedy value...
Just curious if this is still going on, me and my wife just rolled some widows the other day on Triumph.
Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?
Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you all to the first of what I hope to be a regular monthly event:
Arachnos' Friday Night Jamboree & Hootenanny!
This will be an all VEAT event for teaming, TF's, and general evil merry making. The first event will be held January 8th, 2010 at 8p.m. central time on my favorite/home server of Triumph. Please gather by Alan Desslock in Mercy.
So if you don't have a VEAT on Triumph, go make one, or use one of those fancy free server transfers to move one over.
Anyone that would like to join in the fun is encouraged to join the "Hootenanny" global channel.
