Resetting the spawn size on Posi

Dispari

Is it sufficient for everybody on a Posi TF to log out of the game for 5 minutes to reset the spawn size for a smaller number of teammates?

Just logging out doesn't work anymore. TFs spawn for how many people are on the TF, even if they aren't online. The only way to reduce the spawn is for people to actually QUIT the task force.

Thank you.

Can the TF leader kick those who have logged out, and aren't coming back?

I believe /kick charactername will remove offline players.

/k charactername works. Thank you very much!

As a QOL improvement, TF leaders should be able to review who is on a TF/SF and kick whoever, whenever. Until we can do that, I'm writing down teammate names for each longer TF that I do (especially Posi).

I agree, the name should still show up on the team for TF-like teams, but simply show "offline" or something as their location.

In the meantime, I usually use the chat history to see the name of the person who left, either by things they might have said, enemies they killed, or when they first joined the team and it showed up in system chat.

As a matter of general information, spawn size is generated dynamically. Actual team size at the moment applies when you get close enough to an enemy group for them to spawn. As noted, on a task force, this includes people who are offline but still on the team.

So you don't need any shenanigans to change spawn size.
Difficulty setting is a different matter (and currently inapplicable for task forces).
