Why Doesn't Depths of Time grant Entruste with the Secret?
In-game 'RP' answer:
If I recall correctly, doesn't Montague explain that he obtained the crystal by other means and is operating without the knowledge or approval of Ouroboros? If so, it makes sense that time traveling for Monty would NOT grant access to Ouroboros.

Also, the devs hate Romans.

Not Romans in general; just ancient Romans.
It's because they didn't have cookies back then.

I think it's all Romans.
*Spoiler alert*
The only reference to modern Romans is the "A Path Into Darkness" story arc, which strongly implies that travel to Rome will turn you into a demon-fueled killing machine.

Heck, look at the Praetorians. Why are they evil? Because their SG is named after Romans instead of Greeks.
Seriously.
Entrusted with the Secret is supposed to be granted for being exposed to any type of Time travel. I think going to Cimerora is definately going back in time, isn't it?
So why doesn't it grant Entrusted with the secret?
