When is the best time to start adding memebers to new SG

I'd fairly strongly suggest you invite people you enjoy playing with to your SG, don't be one of the idiots standing in Atlas trying to blind recruit every new level 1 player to your SG.

The best time to add SG members is on Thursdays between the hours of 1pm and 10pm Greenwich time.

But seriously.. you can add members to a group any time. You'll probably get a larger response once you get a med bay and teleporters set up, but if you get some friends together and can get a coalition with a group that already has teleporters, it can really help a new group get off the ground until you can afford your own.
I agree with most of the above. It is hard to convince people to commit to a group that has just started and has no characters or very little prestige. I would try asking globals to see if they could commit a character to help you start out, and fill it with your own alts that are frequently logged in and have earned prestige.
Another thing that can help is if you have a theme that might attrack a type of player. For a mafia group, you might request that they have a costume dedicated to a mafia theme, or power types. Or role-play it when you have SG functions. And advertise that in the forum channel dedicated to the server you are on. Or broadcast it in Atlas/Mercy.
Best time is:
- when you or another member meet someone who seems like a good addition to the group.
- and the prospective member is interested in joining.
- and someone is online to invite and they are online to accept (assuming the developers have'nt finally added offline invitations).
My scrapper doesn't need an AoE. She IS an AoE.
Just please remember. The biggest ways to kill your SGs. Inactive leadership and questionable members.
