Tonite: Meeting 7.11
Target level: 39ish

The Plan: Start on the 35-40 contacts, safeguards, etc.

What are your thoughts on nextweek? Anyone going to be in town? Call it a make up / TF night, or will there be enough people for a regular session?

For those unfamiliar with the group, Isolators was started shortly after badges were introduced to the game. This was in the dark, dreary times before global chat, global tells, or even coalition chat. Back then, the only way to find a person from the forums was by chance or pre-arranged meeting.

The Isolators project was started so the people who post here in Victory could actually meet and play together, so that you could have some fun with the people you chat with online. Everyone made a new character for this new group. This is an once a week supergroup that plays every 8 pm Wednesdays.

When the vast majority of the group hits 50, we start a new run of the group, switching between CoH and CoV between runs.

You don't have to be an active forum poster to join, through it's encouraged. At the very least, be a member of the community; run missions, join in advertised task forces, etc.

If you're interested in joining up this run, please feel free to post interest here. Everyone is welcome.

A few notes:
Everyone is welcome.
Not everyone is welcome.
This is an once a week sg. If the group ends up at level 20 at the end of the night, please don't show up next week at level 25.
If you're a few levels behind due to playing less, don't sweat it, but try to catch up on your own or with a task force if you can.
We play 8 pm eastern on Wednesdays.

Im off tomorrow so I will be on tonight. Next week looks bad from a work standpoint. I doubt I will make it.

Yeah, I'll be gone next week and the week after... I'm off visiting family and friends from the 23rd until New Year's or so, depending on the weather, etc.

I'll be there tonight, though. Game on!

I'm iffy for tonight. For some reason Cablevision decided that between 7PM and 1AM my Internet connection will only work at snail speed. It's so bad I don't see my powers actually activate until 5 or more seconds after I click them. Then they decide to appear like toggles with the swirling circle around them. And rubber banding? It's more like sling shotting back and forth. To make matters worse I don't even map server I straight up crash. Sigh

Who do I have to *&^% around here to get more Targeted AoE recipes added?

Arc Name: Tsoo In Love

Okay, fully slotted, can Defender nukes not even drop minions? I was hitting Aim before firing mine last night, and all the minions still had some health left. A bit lame, if you ask me, even if my nuke disorients them. I don't want Defenders to touch Blaster's damage, but this is a bit... underwhelming, if you ask me.

At any rate, we still had fun (though a lot of people log off early... what's making this run so different in that regard?). Defeated Terra, did some Nemesis, and got a good ways in to Tina Mac's arc, which is more fun with a good team: I've been running it a fair amount lately with hit or miss PUGs.

Were they red or purple minions? I would think you could drop white cons with a Defender nuke.

Ah, maybe that was it... they would have had to be red or orange, with the settings Ham usually has. Heh.

I just wanted a small second of a little power, though, and thought the nuke could give it to me.

Defender nukes are generally worthless. It's tough to drop even minions and then you're out of endurance with not much to show for it.

Target level looks 40ish.

Team Hamster ran through some misc. late 30's missions, finished Terra Conspiracy arc, then moved into Tina Mac.
