No worries man the chest structure is improved and does look more realistic... I just like big boobs is all... on angels that is... that carry warhammers, ahem.
Well those were collateral damage Changing the breast structure required it... as for the choker, I removed it because a fellow over on conceptart.org did a paint-over to show me his thoughts on improving the chest, and his paint-over got rid of the choker for clarity. I saw that and immediately liked having that collar bone popping up a bit, so I went with it.
What confuses me is that you said it reads better except the breasts... but the chest structure was the part that I was deliberately trying to improve. Ok maybe I'm not confused by that so much as I am saddened Anyways I'm going to edit my previous post of the image with a few touch-ups instead of posting the image all over again. But from this point forward I will force myself to not touch the image again. I just realized that I have never done a landscape in my entire life, so I need to move on to that and stop dwelling on this one. |
Don't listen to him Clutch, they look just fine the way they are.
Just a bump as a reminder of my availability for commissions.. I've run into a bit of a financial snag, and as a result I'm feeling pretty flexible about commission prices right now.
So if you were thinking about getting something, now would be a good time
Thanks,

I left this comment over on your DA page, but wanted to reiterate it here:
"Actually, I do not think they are over-stated. Too often I've seen women being abnormally endowed when drawn, so much so that the chest draws all attention away from the rest of the piece. I don't get that when I look at Valkyrja.
Are they on the large side? Yes. But they're not 'in your face' out of proportion with the rest of her form that they are a distraction.
Now were the same breasts placed on one of those 'pencil-waisted, un-naturally posed females, then yes they would be too large.
I see this as a perfect balance."

I agree, this lady has the frame to support the assets.
Be Well!

D'oh,
What about the the changes to her hood and the neck choker being missing and other stuff I noted? Did those happen in a previous revision that I missed perhaps (I'm just looking at differences between the last two times the image is posted in this thread)?
