Is it possible to view I.D. cards/Threat assessments?

I've been very impressed with the minimal amount of experience I have in this game, but one thing has been nagging at me... Is it possible to view someone else's Hero Registration Card or Threat Assessment?

In particular, can you see the background other people put on their character, or is that for your eyes only?

You can't see their actual I.D. window, but you can see their powers, background, etc. from their info window. Right click, select info. Or target them and type
/info


I actually have a bind to do info on my target,
/bind i "info"
so that I can just target someone and hit i and get their information quickly.

(If you /info while you have nothing targeted, you get YOUR OWN info window. Also handy to know!)

You can view the player's information click on the name or character and then click info.

You will see a display with a picture of there current outfit. Powers, History (if they wrote any), Level, and notes.

However you won't see the ID card display this be a window with tabs. But it would have the same information.

Ah. I've used the Info window on other people before, but hadn't ever seen background in it. I guess that's because they hadn't written one.

If you highlight a person and click on actions, one of the options should be Info.

That will show you the information on the character such as powersets, set bonuses, PvP ratings, and one of the tabs is Description.

Yeah, if they've written nothing at all, then the Description tab won't show up and all you'll get is their powers. Or sometimes they just put a space in or a stray keystroke so you get a Description but it's nothing.

Personally I still check practically every character I come across, unless I'm actively engaged in doing something else, because I love coming across a clever story or character concept. Different people play for different reasons though - some make 'toons' and may never ever write a biography for their characters while others form concepts before the character ever even makes it out of the creator screen. So some people will have interesting bios, some will have odd bios, some will have nonsensical bios and some will have no bios. Pretty much as you'd expect.
