My first thought is lose Dragon's Tail. I don't remember it being all that great in PvP, unless it's just for the set bonuses. And if that's the case, you could probably grab a better power, and still get useful set bonuses.

Eagle's Claw...why would you put the stupify set in your big damage dealer?

The problem isn't that your build is wrong, the problem lies with the fact that a lot of people have access to to hit bonuses and combined with build up they will hit right through your defenses.

Also diminishing returns causes your defense to plummet to around 20 to 30% depending on where your defense % is in PvE.

Blame Castle

In all seriousness, its going to be painful.
I play a Spines/SR in RV, and you can get by but its not fun.
If you're committed I can point you in a somewhat good direction.

As far as your primary, you only need 3 attacks, 4 if you're feeling squirrely. I would recommend Eagles Claw/Crane Kick/Thunder Kick with Build Up and Confront.

Forget set bonuses, don't really on them entirely, build it like you are trying to do damage. Eagles claw crits for stupid dmg, slot it with your best set.

As for your secondary, build for Ranged and Melee Def. Try and achieve over 50% PvE numbers. Makos/ToD etc.

Power Pools are Concealment (phase), Super Speed, Fitness, and whatever you want, I would go Super Leaping.

As for an APP, go with weapons and get TD and Webnades.

Id throw up a build, but Im lazy, so I won't. Good luck if you are really that interested.

Or you could just realize that the OP is pulling your leg because he's only got a single attack that's actually slotted for damage. Everything else is fully slotted for the secondary effects of the power, which is obviously facepalm.

This, I saw this posted about 10 minutes after it was up, and was actually afraid to say anything. Thought either this is a joke, or defenses are the least of the worries.

At this point I still don't know how to approach this without trying to come up with an entire build and post tons of information along with it, if I did that I seriously feel like someone would comeout saying "april fools" after I'd wasted about a 25 minutes.

Quick advice, don't worry about sets, get the basics down first (attacks with dam/acc/rech slotting, defenses with def/res/end/heal (whatever is supposed to be enhanced slotting) and only to ED cap). With just those basics down you'd be a good bit farther towards your goal than you are atm, work with sets from a more solid base.

I don't know...I've seen some scary builds in game. :/

People who actually do such things, thinking it's a good idea.

I still see people (long time vets) who 6 slot stamina and other such things, and not even using sets when they do.

Or the...slot Dragon's Tail with KB enhancers...for concept

Or slot Impale only with imob cause they thought it increased the mag. ... (Guilty)

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
