Just for fun: if anyone wants to give it a try and give me feedback.
ARC ID#352606

No offense but just so you know, you may want to give a little more information then the Arc# and the fact that it's a holiday mission if you want people to actually try it.

The idea is good but it's pretty rough around the edges. You should probably review it for typos since there were some in various places. I apologize for not being able to compile a full list.

Unless we (hopefully) get the winter maps soon, you might not want to use Croatoa for both of your first two missions. Outdoor maps are good in theory but spawn points can be problematic and things can seem a bit repetitive. Also, due tothe map and number of elves, you might want to change them from escorts to captives.

You shouldn't officially use the Grinch in the third mission due to copyright reasons. There's a number of ways you could tweak the name and appearance to make the homage obvious without a direct rip. Blue caves are controversial. I'm the odd man out since I think that it was the most icy/wintry thing about your arc and you should keep a blue cave. However, the specific cave you chose is apparently a very disliked map so I would suggest picking a different one--specifically one that is much smaller since your arc seems exceptionally long as a whole. While we did pause for discussion, it took over two hours to complete. Plus, make sure that the objective only requires beating the boss rather than the whole group due to the map structure.

Mission 4 seemed a little unneeded. The rest of the missions seem to have a clear progression in stopping Krumpus: Rescue elves, free reindeer, recover presents, and save Santa. Humbug seemed like he was just "some guy". It feels like you could either eliminte the mission altogether or merge it with mission 3 so that the greedy Humbug is the one who stole the presents and that the ghosts of Christmas tried to get there ahead of you to make him change his ways.

While Krumpus's dialog was in reference to the song you had going in the popups, it didn't seem clear. Plus, it seemed out of character. You'd assume an evil Christmas hating guy would be talking about "How dare you foil my plans" or even singing an evil version of the song instead of just going "Ding".

Plus, a little more dialog overall will help. The elves that thanked you in the first mission added more life to it. Adding a few option objective like enemies who are gloating will be nice. Plus, you actually might need to add a few new mobs to your enemy group. The Snow Beast's debuffs could stack pretty fast if you aggroed them. The ability to recolor standard enemies will help with this. However, it would be best to level lock the arc so you can concentrate on a set group of enemies.

I didn't mind it so much myself and thought it fit the theme as well, but some people on the team did groan when they saw it. I'm a big fan of "do what you want with your story" so I;d say leave it in, but you might not be a big fan so you may want to heed Zam's advice here.

Seconded all that, except I wasn't so much fearing stacking debuffs from the Snowmen as I was just getting a bit tired of them; big maps make for "foe fatigue". Ever tried to clear that map on redside in the mission that gives you the Plague Carrier badge? Block after city block of groups of LongBow... Yeah, it's like that.

What Zamuel wrote above is good advice. Every time a map loaded I groaned because it was yet another huge map with more objectives then it is fun to collect/free or beat up. By the end of mission 3, I just wanted to end that arc. I had the same feeling you get when you realize that you are only halfway Possi's TF. As it is now, it is to long. The blue cave map itself is one that a lot of people just ragequit on.

Another problem is that every mission got the same opponent. Winter Horde,Winter Horde and guess what, more Winter Horde. Two hours of beating them up starts to get tedious very soon. You might consider to bring in other factions to add spice.

Last big problem was that you did not use bio's on your customs, objects we searched or allies, hostages and don't forget that you can give the contact a bio as well these days.

The thing I liked best was the way you let that song (which i dont know btw) sound through the whole arc. We were a bit surprised when all mr Humbug said was Ding but once I saw the debriefing it was aha, nice touch.

In short, this arc got some 'large' issues that can 'easily' be remedied to turn it into a fun experience.

I agree. Please - don't think we're coming in here to gang up on you and tell you you look funny and have a big nose or anything, your this arc shows definite yuletide potential!

I just realized it might be taken like that...
