I get easily frustrated with binds for my masterminds, as i an horrible at code.
but i just got the air guitar emote, and as i have an incarnate necromancer, i want to turn my zombie horde into a rock band, while i'm sitting around the RWZ waiting for people to arrive for trials.
so when i do "/petsay <em airguitar> they just say aloud "em airguitar".
I want to put my zombies on the small drums, the death knights on air guitar, and the lich on a big drum.
my end goal is to preform "don't fear the reaper" behind marauder, during the lambda trial. -
this is just a suggestion for the new set. we would love it if you could make a Huge trident as part of the titan powers set. I've always said that the ONLY classic superhero type that this game is missing (for us to play anyway) is an under the sea character (like aquaman or sub-mariner). Now Captain mako exists, but as an NPC. we got these really cool fish-man costume parts for halloween, so now we can do an sea dweller character costume, but BOY would it be cool if you could give us a big neptune's trident for one of the costume options for titan weapons. With the Rogue Islands being...well Islands, you'd think that there would be lots of heroes and villians walking up the beach. With a large part of the plot revolving around Mu (the legendary sunken city in the pacific) i just think a sea trident would be awesome!

Since this is more of a speculation list. I'll give my hopes. To answer the earlier statement about "what at is the interface, well it's the defender trick. Trust me I have 3 lvl 50 defenders and none of them are empaths. Defenders do much more than heal. The debuffs intersect abilities, are very much like all the non-heal defender powers.
My hope is that the Hybrid set will let us trade one of our powers for another power from a different at set, but at the same point on the tier. As a trick archer, I'd trade a few of the archery powers I dont like for gadgets or traps powers in a heartbeat. Might be unrealistic, but I can dream.
Mind might be several mental based options, and might give is a psionic something. Maybe we will get our choice of a confuse, a blinding hold, a mind trap hold, or a sleep. As an incarnate power I'd figure they would be aoe's.
Vitae I'm thinking will be a great group res. Like maybe the same kind of res as the vet award, where the whole group rises with several inspirations allowing a team wipe to stand back up and turn the tide.
Lastly regarding the "too overpowered" idea that the incarnate powers makes us. I'm not sure what that even means in a mostly group cooperative game. Firstly, when we exemplar down, the incarnation powers go away. Secondly, ok so that incarnate slotted guy is killing more people than you. Well if you are a defender player, you accepted long ago that this is not a "who can kill the most contest". We share xp, so if that incarnate powered guy is rolling the xp in for the team then that's a good thing for all of us.
If you are worried the game is too easy, well just visit a hero corps or fortunata and raise your difficulty. I suppose that it will up the ante in Recluse's Victory, but since the existance of level shifts, RV is a no mans land, as everyone is scared to death of a muscluature slotted stalker. Not sure why, pvp does not give debt. I guess some folks do not like a challenge. -
Just for fun: if anyone wants to give it a try and give me feedback.

Of COURSE the cross-genre stuff works. The "Super Hero Universe" concept is virtually meant for genre-fusion ideas. Look at the Classic Icons of "The Avengers" where you have a supertech suit of armour (clearly a sci-fi idea-IRON MAN) right next to Mjolner (Straight out of scandinavian ancient Myth-THOR). The Other major company has the same platform in the "Justice League" where you have a crashlanded alien (another sci-fi idea-Superman) side by side with an Amazonian Olympian (More Greek and Roman Mythology-Wonder Woman).
The super hero genre is as malleable as they come. There IS no "outside of the genre" with superheroes. I'm a longtime Vet, (my croatoa inspired toons get thier pixie sidekicks next week via the 4 year award) and What keeps me here instead of the other MMO's is that IN a super hero universe you can drastically change the backdrop of mood and theme, and KEEP your main characters in thier gaudy spandes. We can buy Wolverine in his Canary Yellow and Baby blue spandex tackleing a Dinosaur in the Savage lands we can certainly swallow Paragon City Heroes Timetravelling to Ancient Rome.
Now as to future suggestions:
You guys start Crackin on our World War Two timetravel zone where we can see young statesman, and meet the Sand Kings. I really want to bust up some Storm Korps. A December 7th, 1941 Task Force would be the coolest thing EVER!
And Also: An ancient sunken city of Mu (the pacific's atlantis) with a Hero Sea King Leader who has it IN for Mako & Scirocco. A Superhero universe just isn't complete till we have an underwater zone complete with Hero Sea King Character. -
Holy Timetravel Manticore!!!
This is going to be fun; My favorite Hero Character is My Trick Arrows/Archery defender Gorgon-Girl (Teen sidekick to the Manticore- and yes i do realize i'm the only person on planet earth who loves those powersets). I'm going to have to totally re-do her origin and make her about redeming the mantle of the "crimson archer" in the wake of manticore's betrayl -
I want the Return of Talos and Chimera!!! Imagine how cool it would be if the statue on talos Island wasn't a statue at all but actually the big guy standing there recently risen from the water!!
Well i can hope
