How to review build of existing alt?

How can I see what the build of an already existing alt is?

I can of course see the list of powers the alt has, as well as how many slots are assigned to each power. The real question is, how can I see what order I selected each power and slot? I figure the data must be stored somewhere, since the game knows how to back an alt down for task forces and exemplaring. Is there some way to view that data, or to export that data into a file?

I started keeping track of this for my more recent alts, but it didn't occur to me to do it for my older ones.

Thanks!

It's on the server.
Your character build info is stored nowhere clientside, otherwise it might be hacked.

Also, it does not store what level you put a slot onto a power - part of the reason why, after exemplaring down past a certain point, enhancements are artificially degraded.

In your I.D. (menu > I.D.), you can view in which order you picked your powers. (Inherent and booster pack powers will be listed in there as well, so you'll have to weed those out.)

However, there is no way to know which order you picked slots, mostly because the game doesn't care at what level you picked a slot, because you always have use of that slot no matter if it's placed at level 50 and you are exemplared to level 1.

Menu -> ID does list all of the powers, but it appears to group them by powerset. Within each powerset, it appears to show them in the order you got them, but it doesn't show the complete order.

For example, I can tell that I selected Fortitude before I selected Absorb Pain (within the Empathy powerset) and I can tell I selected Aim before Cosmic Burst (within the Radiation Blast powerset), but I can't tell whether I selected Fortitude before or after Cosmic Burst, or where Recall Friend fits in the whole sequence.

I'm beginning to think there's no way to do this. Oh, well.

You could use ouroborus to exemp down to different levels and see what powers are available. Yuo obviously can't check every level this way but it would at elast allow you to get a general feel for order. Just remember to account for the fact that you keep powers up to +5 your exemped level.

Used to not

Also, if you pay attention, there are certain restrictions - such as your Primary T6 is always min level 18, and that can help you figure things out.

Yep - I know how to deduce most of the stuff. I was just wondering if there was an easy way. It would be nice if there was a way to export your current build into a file that could be loaded into Mids. :-)

Thanks for all of the feedback, everyone!

if you do the build on mids first then you will know what lv you picked the powers at.

No, you know what level you intended to pick the powers at. I've never had a build stick strictly to the plan in Mids' -- I've found that I needed Hasten earlier, or that I needed Telekenetic Thrust for mitigation, or something else needed adjusting.

and you can also change mids as you play your toon if you deviated from the original build.
