I've never had a trial account but I'm on a team with a person who has one and he is not getting xp anymore after hitting level 14 is that normal?

Thanks

And just in case the OP doesn't want to go to the link Ad Astra and Master-Blade so graciously provided out of the infinite kindness of their hearts . . .

Trial Accounts allow a player to take City of Heroes and/or City of Villains for a test run. They are free and last either 10 or 14 days, depending on the source of the Trial Account code. Up until Issue 12, a Trial Account was not limited in what it could do; as of Issue 12, there are several restrictions put in place. Most of these restrictions were placed due to RMT spam.
Restrictions

  • Trial Accounts cannot email other players
  • Trial Accounts may not level past 14
  • Trial Accounts can only have 50k influence
  • Trial Accounts may not join global channels
  • Trial Accounts can only speak in
  • Trial Accounts cannot invite players to team
    • Trial Accounts may join teams, but not invite other players
    • Trial Accounts may not join SuperGroups.
  • Trial Accounts may not create Mission Architect arcs. They can not interface with the Architect Entertainment Stations. However, they can be invited onto a team that is running MA missions.

I agree. They should just put another button on the little "BuyCoH" window that says "Why should I buy full version", or "Learn about trial account limitations." Then at least there would be an obvious place to get the information quickly, either by linking to the website, or by another simple info window that opens up when the button is pressed.

Not when I had one on my second account.. It's possible they added one at some point, but I'd guess it only pops up at the beginning.. and if so.. not for nothing.. but how many people might just click it away and/or just forget what was on it by the time they realize something isn't normal?

It should be accessible at any time, which I don't believe is the case currently.

I once saw a woman climb over and under row after row of traffic horses and construction tape, only to scream bloody murder after stepping in wet cement.

If you think that's bad, I've seen civil engineers do the same thing.

Reminds me of the woman who was upset we wouldn't give her the "better" price on some salami because she mangaed to pick off the only one of it's kind off a strip of another kind ("Sorry ma'am, someone else put it there, it's not our fault, you don't get a cheaper price.")

To be fair, there is only so many hours in the day to do your hair.

Well, in that case, they are probably pissed at themselves because they should no better, unlike that woman. Who was also probably wearing 200+ dollar shoes or something.

Worst one I've seen so far.

This was while I lived in PA, my then boyfriend and I were heading towards Harrisburg, driving in the middle of five lanes, as there was a split ahead, three lanes north, three west (the middle went both ways.)

Up ahead, we see a car cut across from the 2nd lane from the inside, across three lanes and right under a big-rig's trailer. The truck stopped immediately (well as immediately as a 12 ton truck with a 48k load can) can, we pulled over and stopped, and three other rig drivers stopped as well.

The driver was uninjured.

What she told the Highway Patrol after the accident:

"Didn't he (the semi driver) see I wanted to turn left?"

-.-
