I need an excuse to level a Bane, I might take you up on the offer, time dependant, I normally have work until 6 pm PST on fridays, however, don't plan around me, I am commonly known as schitzophrenic
I love the idea and if you're still going after midnight your time, when I get home from work, I would love to join in.
Sure today is the first day of the rest of your life. But so was yesterday. And look how that turned out.
I'd definitely be interested, and availability shouldn't be *too* bad for me for a while. I've got a mid level Night Widow I'd love to jump in on this, but not too keen on starting a new toon, so take that for what it's worth.

OK. We will make our first run at this on January 8th. Any VEAT players that want to come will meet by Alan Desslock in Mercy at 8 p.m. Central Time. I will be setting up a Global "Hootenanny" channel for those that want to participate.
Myself and an sg mate will likely be heading teams but anyone that wants to lead a team is welcome to. Activities will be based on the level ranges of the people that show up. TF's, lvl 50 hero killin mishes (I have Woodsman, Statesman, and I think the Vindicators waiting on my widow), getting mayhem badges, VEAT arc missions, whatever we can get done and suggestions to schedule something specific are welcome.
I will be posting in the events section and the VEAT Archetype section later tonight. Global Channel will be up by the morning (Jan. 2nd)
Thanks to everybody that posted and talked to me about this and I hope to see you all there.

We started with several BNY mishes to get some lowbies levels. Then it was on to a Cap TF and we finished up with a Zombie invasion in Shark.
Lesson learned from the first run...crank the diff...we mowed down everything...including the entire last map in the Cap TF because, well, we could. I have not done that in years.
Next run is scheduled for Feb 5th. 8 pm central at Alan Desslock in Mercy. Join the "Hootenanny" global channel with your VEAT and keep up on any changes in the MOTD.

Just a reminder that the next Hootenanny is this Friday (Feb. 5th) at 8 p.m. Central Time.
Hoping to maybe run a Shark TF but I am open to any suggestions. We simply do not have the options available to blue side so I am always looking for ideas. Are Oro TF's an option folks would like to do? Does anyone want to have an AE night worked in? Or is just leveling up by cranking through missions good for folks.
Let me know what you all want to do.

We had to do a quick Talos Mayhem and a paper to get Bride up to level 20 then it was on to the main event and the Silver Mantis TF. An hour and forty-two minutes of pure destruction and level dings later and we all had our badge and 42 shiny new merits.
The next Hootenanny will be March 5th 8pm Central time. Tenatively thinking about a Shark TF with maybe a quick Treespec for dessert.

Well, my VEATs would dispatch some spiderlings to drag said music teachers back to the homestead so that lessons can continue whilst the glory that is the Hootenanny is enjoyed as well...but thats just me...and I don't have kids...so take that for what its worth.
or buy them Guitar Hero and let the television teach them music...

Reminder time. Hootenanny #3 is set for Friday March 5th, 8p.m. Central. We will meet by Alan Desslock in Mercy as usual. This will be during double XP weekend so it's a good night to bring a VEAT that needs to ding some levels.

It's been a bit hectic since the Hootenanny last Friday but I just wanted to jump on and thank everybody that came out...lost my list of who was there. Had a good time doing a Cap TF/Zombie invasion/Treespec.
Next Hootenanny is Friday May 7th, 8pm central meet by Alan Desslock in Mercy.
If we can get a higher level group put together I wouldn't mind taking a run at an all Veat Barracuda just to change things up a bit.

Holy Crap! First Friday is just around the corner. Hootenanny fires up again this Friday, May 7th. Meet by Alan Desslock 8 PM central time.
We can crank the dif on TF's again so I would like to run an Ice Mistral but as always we will work with the levels that show up.

Hello Triumph,
Some folks might know me most probably do not. I have made Triumph my home since starting the game about the time CoV came out. I love the server because of the peeps I have met over the years. So, I come to the people of Triumph with a question. I am thinking about starting a Tanker Tuesday style event here on Triumph only not with Tanks, and not Blueside. What I am proposing is: Arachnos' Friday Night Jamboree & Hootenanny!
This would be an all VEAT event. All VEAT teams doing TF's, VEAT Arcs, random missions, whatever. What I need to know is how much interest there would be in an event like this? Who would be willing to help lead teams? Who would be willing to help in general? What times work best?(I am a central time zone player). I am thinking the first Friday of each month but open to suggestions.
Ok, that's several questions, but you get the idea. So let me know what you think.
