I'm all in favor of trashing the current PvP mechanics but if the Devs do decide to keep them as is, then I believe I have come up with (thank macskull for the inspitration) a great solution to counter the lack of player participation in PvP.

Funny thing about that thread is everyone who's taking it seriously is throwing the exact reasons not to implement the changes as PvPers did during the I13 beta.

I am very serious about that idea but I'm also thinking the exact same thing and loling through those serious comments being made.

Thank-you for posting this suggestion. I believe the more we discuss implementing DR, HealDecay and travel supression into PvE people will begin to understand how much more fun and even the playing field will be for all players.

It helped to balance and make PvP more interesting. I don't see why it wouldn't have the same results for PvE.

I think this is a great idea and will help me form teams easier! I don't have to worry about what builds people are bringing, because everyone will just need to damage spam to Win the day!

Like Sonic said, some of the responses are so eerily similar to what was said in i13 -
