im talking post i13...dont get me wrong, by "wreck most things" i really mean i do well against most things not including doms ... however i fought an SS brute today, he was running from me ...if im not mistaken hurricane debuff lasts like 10 sec after it drops or somethin, but with my thunderstorm going along with it, those stacked -to hit debuffs and my small heal put that brute into a world of trouble. I'm willing to test this against any brute/tank that isnt gravely IO'ed cause im not to that point yet and pvp ios make a world of difference. He is level 37 with a number of sets mainly to help with my recovery, havent added any procs or +dmg stuff yet

Here's an idea of what my fights have been like

Vs.

Mind/Fire Ioed dom - lost horribly
MA/Nin stalker (not sure of io status)- lost horribly
Zylo (SS/WP) - lost by a VERY thin margin
Em/nin stalker (very much ioed)- lost by thin margin
Mind/Thorn - Won, couldnt hit me
Mind/Fire - Won couldnt hit me
Nin/Elec - Won
Em/Regen stalker - won by large margin
Thugs/Pain - draw
Thugs/Traps - draw (with mms, i just heal and heal and heal when my health is low without attack to maintain endo)
SS/Fire brute - Won, first time his endo was shot, second time he ran, but i chased em

It's pretty tough for anything to break through the debuffs + about 13% def which isnt much but plenty when paired with loads of -to hit. when I fought zylo, he basically beats me because my endo cant really hold up against him...yet >

But im always up for a friendly fight, so find me in SC usually or pm me and im down to test against any toon.

i fought an MA/Regen a few weeks back.. yeah, i got detoggled ten times in the match, but since hurricane lingers, and pvp is "SO FAST NOW", toggling up hurricane at the top of a jump arc towards him isn't that much of a big loss.

consistency is key, and i don't think anything other than SS or a build with high inherent acc can do that.

-to hit is really really underrated.

^this..but shhh dont tell them, then we will see -tohit all over the place

-tohit is only underrated in duels probably. It's fairly useless in a zone, since even if you debuff some guy, there are 4 others attacking you that you didn't debuff....and all of them can knock off your toggle. Makes playing a rad especially hard. In a busy zone, it's straight up impossible to keep a toggle on anybody for longer than like 5 seconds.

Well, my sonic/dark is no slouch when it comes to -to hit. However, unless I'm fighting controllers, its pretty much useless. Now, I don't arena much, mostly zone which as mentioned earlier poses additional problems for the toggle debuffer.

In most fights against BS scrappers or SS tanks, my -to hit from both darkest night and fearsome amounted to nearly NO affect on their chance to hit.

Fighting blasters is completely different from the above. When I meet a blaster in the zones, the first volley is usually an exchange of mezzes. So, I lead with fearsome or howling twilight then fearsome. Then I need to heal, and then darkest night. By that time I can easily out damage him until AIM or build-up recharges. Hopefully, I can out heal the amount of damage he does to me vs the amount of damage I can fit in against them.

may be true in RV, but SC is my main zone, our pop is a bit lower, and have no trouble there. But yeah, i understand ur point. Haven't gone to RV yet, but getting there...

Really? RV PvP on Freedom is like nothing else in the game. The numbers can be ridiculous on some nights. And when the sides are even, it's pretty amazing.

I stayed exclusively in sirens from I13 to about I14, because RV was really laughable in I13 when elusivity was king. Imagine a whole zone of defense melee toons, with nobody being able to hit anybody else lol. Anyway, sirens can be very fun, but lately it seems to be a ghost town compared to RV. Seriously.

Other then a few, special moments...SC has turned into the new Bloody Bay. People stand around at the HDS, chatting and dancing. Someone will get froggy and finally attack while a duel is happening and when you go back to farm them...they cry and its resumption of sexy PvP time.
