Anyone have a good build for leveling one up who is currently level 44 without using IOs? I just came back to the game and my current setup isnt working as it use to. Trying to recreate it in Mids isnt even working, somehow its missing slots or something, its really weird. Shes level 44 atm, with the setup below, I just need a decent build to help me get to 50. I tried searching for guides but all of them seem to be dead.

Ok, looking over your power selections I went along with it until level 22, 24,... 38 what? OP my friend, you simply must work Fearsome Stare into your build somewhere shortly after Stamina. It becomes available at level 20 on the dark miasma secondary. It's a top of the line debuff; it has a fear component, kind of a soft hold, plus a big, big tohit debuff. This power operates in a wide and long cone. When you push back hover, you probably won't keep grant invisibility. At level 38, most dark miasma users boilerplate their Dark Servant into their build. Dark Servant is a reflection of you using dark miasma powers. The big fluffy also has a strong tohit debuff aura called Chill of the Night around him. When times are tough, dark masterminds huddle with the dark servant for maximum tohit debuffing. Finish up with soul tentacles and soul storm.

Slotting preferences: 3 Recharges are overkill on Darkest Night. Toss one Tar Patch's way. It's fine to use fly as your primary power. (I guess you are a veteran with fly at level 6.) Two fly enhancers will maximize your flight speed. You would maximize your potential putting a resistance/end and a defense/end IO in place or a resistance and a defense enhancement to reduce some endurance cost. Having twilight grasp, which is a great power to spam for the debuffs, you don't need 3 health slots. Swift need a FLIGHT enhancement in it.

Lastly I would re-emphasize that fearsome stare and dark servant are six slot powers, too.

Good luck.

Here are some modifications to your build. I changed some slotting, but mainly chose chants for a few powers a bit differently. I believe this one will be much more endurance friendly.
I changed your patron pool to Mu Mastery. It's "common consensus" that because of -KB that electric Fences has it's generally the best patron pool for bots/?. It prevents knockbacks from your bots so mobs will stay in tar patch and burning batches.
I'd really recommend you to consider also taking presence pool and Provoke. It'll really help you to keep your bots alive. While in BG mode your resistance to damage is almost comparable to softcapped tankers and in general won't have any problems with tanking. I didn't make this change hence it's up to your decision if you want to swap some of your curreny pool to Presence.

I'd drop either Flight or Speed pool. Propably Flight because without IO's you anyway won't be able to softcap your build. But it's up to your taste.

Yes we have two different builds nowadays. You can swap every 15 minutes between those at Arbiters. If you haven't used it yet you don't even have to respec. Just use it for your new build..

Two different builds can be customized to the user's taste for:

Team vs. Solo
PvE vs. PvP
Supergroup vs. PuG
Strike Force vs. Regular content

I think your second build is MUCH better with Fearsome Stare and Dark Servant. On my Robots/Dark I pull with either photon grenades (I know I am silly for liking that power, but stuns do stack) or twilight grasp. It has a 3.75 tohit debuff and a 7.5 damage debuff. It's not a bad starter for a power that is usually used to mop up damage received. With fearsome stare, you can pick your places to pull or 'fear'. Good luck.

I can't imagine why you'd want one without IOs. Just look at the enhancement values and try to imitate, but you should easily be able to afford IO sets by 44, if nothing else you should have invested in some pet set IOs for frankenslotting by now.

I'm posting my 50 bots/dark build. Its customized to be pretty much the best bots/dark can be at 50 overall, and the best bots/dark can be only really needs one purple in your assault bot. This build can solo some GMs and can slaughter almost any AV, and exemplars really, really well.

The basic ideas behind my build

- Bots all 6 slotted, with 4 franken slots giving enhancement values and 2 extra slots for pet uniques, procs, and defense IOs for the protector bots bubbles. If your bots aren't slotted like mine minus the purple, go effing slot them right now. Explosive strike procs aren't overly expensive, I got mine for 50k, defensive IOs are obviously even cheaper and you might get lucky and find someone sold one in the forties for 100 inf, which means you just need the salvage. Blood mandate isn't that expensive, and you can ignore set bonuses mostly and focus just on the enh values. Two Acc/Dam/End, one Acc/Dam and one Dam will get you where you need to be enhancement wise.

Seriously though, put explosive strike in your lower level bots, it gets a ton of chances to go off, I see it pop up in the combat log usually five or six times per spawn minimum.

- Perma Fluffy

- Provoke, decent defenses, and good resistances plus bodyguard makes you a great tankermind

- Patron Immob recharges fast enough for a 3 stack on one opponent (which lets you perma immob AVs, great for tankerminding)

- Fersome Stare Alpha breaker at 22, immediately after Stamina

- howling twilight up almost half the time, if Fersome Stare is down for some reason it can make a great pulling tool.

This build does everything but PVP, its great teaming or solo and has the utility to get through just about anything, but its specialty is energy wielding enemies. With Ch Armor up, you've got 60% resistance to energy, plus bodyguard, plus your bots get energy resistance too. If you feel like farming, make up a map full of custom enemies that all do energy damage and nothing will ever be able to touch you.

Wow I don't even know where to start.

1) You really really need some end reduction is some major powers. Darkest Night doesn't need any rech, put at least 2 end reducers in there. Shadowfall needs at least 1 if not 2. Your patron shield as well.

2) Quite a few of your powers are overslotted or reduntant. Forget the patron hold. You have plenty of tools to deal with bosses. you don't need 3 slots in heal. You have a heal why do you need regen?? drop the slots from flight. a single SO puts you close to the flight cap and end redux is pointless.

3) Change your patron pool. For Bots/Dark the top 2 are Mu and Mace mastery. Mace has a shield that stacks with the def from your Bots/Shadowfall, and power boost is great with /dark. Mu has the -KB aoe immob, but be warned is has a very small AoE area. I personally like Mace better on my bots/dark.

4) Don't slot your servant for heals, he isn't a very reliable healer and you have your own and the protector bots do as well. replace those slots with rech.

Those are some places to start.

Level 50s: to many to remember at this point

Apologies, but I had to disagree with this. Fluffy's heal is more powerful than TG out of the box, and his has the full defender radius (which is pretty damn big). Parked in melee he can heal you and your bots outside of melee range, and he fires his heal off pretty regularly.

What I like about fluffy isn't so much that he's a good primary healer, so much as that he just adds a ton of ambient healing to the set, just like the prot bot's heals. Two heal IOs in fluffy and he'll top off your bots from near dead every time he fires it, and you've got your own TG to use to fill in the gaps. The first time my assault bot took enough bad hits to go from full to red in about three seconds, my TG missed, and fluffy popped a second later pretty much refilling his entire health bar, I knew heal IOs were a good decision.
