Seeketh the Legions of Abomination
Ava promptly faceplanted after having been whipped off her feet.
"At least give me a heads up!" She grunted. She rolled over to find a zombie hovering above her. She swung her leg into both of it's scrawny shins, knocking it the ground before hammering her robotic fist down on it's head. "Bloody zombies." She muttered.
A grey mist hung in the air in a circle close by to the group. A presence watching the fight smiling to herself. "Impressive power, the Dark order were right about them." Her gaze drifts to a nearby stray zombie. "Light consume you dark creature." She quietly whispered to herself and pointed her fists in the direction of the zombie and closed her eyes. Bolts of light suddenly leaped from her fists and struck the zombie knocking it off its feet. Another volley followed shortly afterwards and the zombie was turned to dust. The Dark clothed woman faded back to mist afterwards.
I have had my eyes opened... and without the people I love I would of never of gained my wings...
Ava stood up, glancing in the direction of the newcomer.
"I feel soooo out of place. I mean, everyone else has superpowers and I got a gun.." She mumbled.
"Oh, you're just as good as them." Carter chimed.
Ava sniffed melodramatically. "You're a real friend, Carter." She has this the second she impaled a zombie on the barrel of her rifle and the firing the gun, killing another.
"I do try." Carter said before exploding.
"Carter!"
Suraya floated above the zombie horde... a glow became visible around her... a glow that seemed to build up.
Then it exploded into a bright light covering the area... Those zombies that looked straight at her collapsed in agony. Others simply where blinded. But most where completely lost and disorientated... hacking wildly at things they could not see properly.

Ava shouted up to Suraya. "Thanks for that!" and went back to rummaging through the debris of Carter, trying to find his AI component, muttering about working out some bugs.
Without warning, she heard the sound of the firing chamber of an old flintlock being loaded. She turned to find a zombie, aiming a gun directly at her face. Without time to reach for her rifle beside her, she quickly pulled out the glass vial of her Poison Trap, taking advantage of the zombies' slow speed, and smashed it over the creatures head.
She covered her mouth, grabbed the rifle and put some distance between herself and the spluttering fiend, before shooting it in the head.
"Is it just me, or are these things starting to come in droves now?" She called out to the heroes.
"Sacred Lord..." Arkeela whispered, taking a steap back. Xariel's eyes merely glowed, somehow making it seem like he was grinning.
"Finally...a worthy challenge!" he rumbled, striding forward, chain's still flailing around him, felling any undead careless enough to get within range.
Arkeela glanced at the others for a moment, then nodded and followed him. As she ran, light seemed to bend around her, and she seemed to grow in stature, becoming slightly transparent while her armour seemed to bulk out, becoming more ornate and heavier in design.

Looks at the large arm partially in horror for a moment then grins mischivously "Cetrainly looks like a challenge to me. I am going to have fun with this one" waves her arms forward and a bright wave of light travels across the ground and some of the zombies pulling the large creature out of the ground get knocked into the air.
I have had my eyes opened... and without the people I love I would of never of gained my wings...
Hellhog looked up at the massive zombie arm, pushing his glasses back up his nose as he did.
"I suppose there's one good thing that's going to come out of this." the biker yelled to the others. "This has all the makings of a bloody good album cover."
His joking over and done with, he then cracked his knuckles once more before drawing every ounce of power as possible from his tattoos, calmly forming it into a fireball the combined size of two footballs.
"On yer heads!" the Yorkshire hero bellowed as he hurled the fireball over everyone's head to reach the remaining zombies trying to pull the 'Big Bad' from its grave. A fat biker pulling off a throw-in is not something one sees every day.
Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."

"Woooowheee!" Ava hollered. "Who's going to help me carry the head of this home as a trophy?" She asked, while grinning.
In an instant, she began pulling various objects and tools from the pockets of her belt, forming a variety of traps and gadgets to hinder the monstrosity.
Pious tried to remain cool and collected as he was knocked unfashionably off his feet and onto his back by a large unearthed arm with rotting flesh and a foul odour like the smell of death. He clampered back to his feet as a wave of light shot from a friendly in the skies and knocked the zombies to their feet, to be incinerated by Hellhog's powerful fireball.
"Good work!" bellowed Pious, finally impressed at the show of efficiency. "That's the minions dealt with! Now let us not allow this giant to reach the surface, remove his arms, shoot him in the head, do something, anything, but make it permanent. I'm not sure we can handle a monstrous elite boss at it's full height." Just then, Nightmare slammed both his arms onto the earth, causing it to quake violently, before lifting his full head up and through the dirt, his eyes a soulless yellow ball of puss, mud and squirming earthworms. "Now!" yelled Pious, producing a large glistening metal broadsword. "Find a weakspot and take it out quickly!"
Concentrating on recalling her telekinesis skill to memory, Damsel closed her eyes and placed her fingers to her temple. With little effort, she used her mind to cut the monster's flesh. With greater effort, she sliced it again, and again, hacking away at the same point with the hope of crippling the monster's support before he can climb out.
Arkeela, now walking like a heavily armoured goliath, clanked towards the giant, Xariel following in her wake. The angel's very prescence seemed painful to the undead, as they rushed her blindly, only to be cut down by Xariel's whip-like chains.
She stepped up to monstrous Nightmare, punching a huge, armoured gauntlet clean through the front of it's skull, before raising the other fist to hammer blows down on it. Xariel laughed, the taunting bass sound echoing as he lashed out again and again, chains hammering at anything undead within reach.

Ava was putting the finishing touches on her Poison Trap behind a tree. While fitting it onto the stand she realised that it wouldn't be much use on the ground. "Idea!" She murmed to herself in delight.
"Oi! Keep that biggun busy! I've got a plan that might just buy us some time." She called the others. She saw one of them nod in agreement. She loped over to the beast, the vial of the Poison Trap under her arms. When she got close, she flung two Seeker Drones at it, blinding the hulking zombie. Take advantage of it's stumbling, she ran up to it and hurled the vial of the pungent gaseous substance into it's face at point blank.
The creature bellowed as the gas stung it's eye, and wreaked havoc on the socket of the missing one. It trashed around. Ava continued with her plan. "Keep hitting it until to falls over!" She yelled as she threw Caltrops and Web Grenades at it to hinder it's balance.
"If it's on it's back, it should be easy to put down." The odd girl grinned.
The doctors at Croatoa's medical centre had their work cut out and were eager to discharge the checked and healthy. The wife of Mister Norman had been called with news of her husband's safety. Overjoyed, the elderly woman had hurried over to his bedside, accompanied by the mayor and an Estonian lady who had been carrying out research over the missing persons. Margret had been crying her eyes puffy and had fallen asleep in a nearby chair, opening her eyes every now and then to make sure Nathan hadn't ran into the forest again. "There was a man who brought us here, he was masked" said Nathan, grogily. "But he must have gone back to the forest. Didn't get a chance to thank him, he just... disappeared."
"Yes, I er... I sent out a team to find you Mister Norman" said the mayor, proudly. "But I hadn't imagined them to bring back all these missing people." He sighed, worriedly. "If they're still in the forest, what's keeping them?"
Suraya looked down at the giant creature coming out of the ground with horror. A small smile on her lips when it was immobilized by Ava her web grenades.
"We need some extra fire power I guess..."
With those words on her lips she nodded to the djinn who instantly made animated light copies who shot at every exposed part of the giant. Suraya concentrated and formed several solid light/heat warriors of herself. All doing the same rampaging attacks.
"All together!!! I can't keep this up all night you know!"

Sword raised high above his head, Pious leapt through the air and impalled the beast at the small of the neck. It screamed with rage but more from annoyance than pain. Even the blows to it's head and arms didn't seem to be stopping his ascent. Pious yanked his sword deeper into the spinal cord and raced around the monster's neck, bringing the blade full circle to completely remove the head entire. "Ah! That's the idea!" said Pious triumphantly, as the head slowly creaked, threatening to topple off.
Arkeela stepped back and, unceromoniously, booted the monstrousity square in the face, the head toppling back with a sickening peeling sound. Her armour seemed to fade, shrinking down back to her normal size, her weapon of light curving itself into the form of an axe.
She began muttering quickly under breath, in something that sounded vaguely like latin, but was more like the tongue of the celestials.

After hearing the order and seeing the others attack Gabrielle grins mischivously and closes her eyes for a moment before launching bright bolts of energy at the creatures head aiming for the forhead trying to help topple the head.
I have had my eyes opened... and without the people I love I would of never of gained my wings...
"Get away for that head! It's getting pickled and put on display!" Ava said as she marched over towards the team of heroes looking down upon the dismembered monster, hands on hips as she walked.
"Oh don't worry! I'll give you the honour of finishing off this thing and taking all the credit!" She smiled, humming cheerfully to herself.
Suddenly, the monster sprung to animation, swinging his arms about wildly in search of his unhinged head, which had been kicked and blown off onto the forest floor. Frustrated, the giant pulled up his arms and brought them crashing earthwards with ground shattering force. The loud noise alone made Pious' heart skip a few beats. Awe struck, he watched as the undead elite boss leapt out from under the ground, bringing his oversized feet just inches from the reverend's face. The stink of rotten flesh was overwhelming and decomposing toenails so long and unkept, they looked about ready to claw the heroes into butchered meat. Blind and headless, the abomination began stomping clumsily about the forest, apparently still searching for his head. "You have got to be kidding me" said Pious, now out of ideas. "Guys, for obvious reasons, this... thing must'nt reach town, so if anyone else has got a plan, now would be the time to share it. I got the feeling we'll need to think as a team to fall this one."
Hellhog watched the decepitated monstrocity, in much the same way as a well-educated individual would take the time to take in a surrealist painting at an art gallery. Stroking that beard of his as usual.
"How's about trippin' the bugger onto what's left of its face?" the biker suggested, adjusting his glasses as he did. "Surely someone somewhere in this backside o' the world has a decent amount of strong-enough chain to wrap round its legs, and I've got the wheels to pull it off."
Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."

"You called?" Xariel growled, the chains on his torso shuffling and jungling, a long spool snaking down his right arm to pool by his side. "Do it, mortal."

Hellskeeper , finally free from a crowd of the lesser undead , leaped across to join the assult on the large beasty..rapidly she set to with her full range of firey attacks ..
" can we drive it away from the town by all hitting from one side ? " she called out , as she spotted the little effect she was having ..
Xariel punched a massive, armoured arm clean through a squirming spirit, ichor and ectoplasm erupting like a cloud. He made a sort of tutting sound, spinning a chain with the aim being to sweep Ava off her feet and onto her face, before lashing out again to snarl a zombie so thoroughly in chains that it literally burst.
Arkeela was busy as well, her weapon of light having morphed into a sort of long spear which she used to fend off a number of a number of undead. She simply nodded at Suraya, before ramming the weapon home through a shambling corpse.
