Bright Shiny Good Thursday Mornings!
Good morning Rooky. Have a great day.
*gives Rook & Emmi big squishy boobie hugz!!!*
*thinks about Rooks idea............OUCH!! Brain hurt, need coffee!!!*
<-----wants a whip emote! (checks off list, thank you Going Rogue! *smooches*)
<-----wants female & customizable MM pets!
[Local] Free.Fall: Detra TF.. timed. last 30 minutes with handcuffs on..no one has collected the badge yet..
Well, I think the problem Rook, is that the majority of people don't use their brains anyway.
BOOGER!!!
*gets his Coffee*
Morning Emmi, Rook and Detra.
Anyway, going back to the awake and asleep, most people seem to just go through the motitions every day anyway, so it can be said most people are a wake and asleep at the same time.
Of course if we are in a Matrix, we would be both. From a physiological standpoint, the brain never really sleeps, only our bodies do. The brain is still working on keeping us alive (regulating breathing etc...) when we are asleep.
Course this could all be wrong, because it is so early.

So it's the bodies that need the sleep?
Hrmmm. Well we could replace the body, some silicon and titanium number then just leaves the brain, but then
/e squints at an odd angle as if thinking.
We might have to replace the brain as well just to get the whole compartmentalized thing going on. Says so here in chapter 5 "Do you actually need YOUR brain? Thinking outside the brain box."
This stuff is complicated. I think I'll need some test subjects...
/e looks around for subjects and notices the FBBC's slowly floating away as if trying NOT to be seen.

Morning Fed.
No a brain isn't needed. and a compartamentalized brain is less needed. To have us truly multitask we need 2 brains though.
Course we could go with jsut a simple program to make everyon automotons and follow without thinking. Wait, a lot of people already do that...

Hello everyone. I tried to get to know my brain once. Turns out we don't have much in common and don't really get along. Fortunately it didn't get that restraining order. That might have made things difficult.
SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.

So, I finished my first playthrough of Dragon Age last night.
I made the ultimate sacrifice despite there being numerous ways to avoid it. I was playing my Human Noble Warrior as "The Good Guy" and when the epilogue played... I felt... satisfied. Few games give me that feeling of "I did the right things and I'm content with how things fell out." BioWare done good.
I've already got my Elf City Rogue to level 7 and ready to enter the Wilds. I'm also working on a Human Magi Mage (female) so I can hunt for any female only plotlines and get the romance achievements (And to play a mage because they are full of Skaboom!)
I think the Elf City Rogue is going to be my 'out just for himself and fsck the rest of y'all' character. Human Magi Mage will likely be out to do the right thing, but using any means necessary.
EDIT: First playthrough took somewhere between 60 and 70 hours.

*curls up on Tiger's back to watch the tussling*
I'm so slow at games playing. I just don't have the stamina for multi hour sessions most of the time. I played my human mage though the point after the big battle where Morrigan joins the party. I am however kind of unsatisfied with her. I pushed through the quests quickly and skipped over a lot of the optional stuff in the Wilds, and I don't much like her hair. I may remake her. I started playing my City Elf Rogue again, who I'm rather liking. My mage is more the 'do the right thing' person, while the rogue is more the person conscripted and conspired by fate into the Grey Wardens, which a chip on her shoulder about humans. Especially given the female version of the city elf origin quest...

/e flies in and alights on the runed wooden faerie door.
Good Morning everyone!
Sleep is such a blessed thing. If only I could be doing something WHILE I slept that would make it the most perfect thing ever.
/e noms on some orange pieces.
Think in the future we might have compartmentalized brains which shut down and sleep while the rest keeps going?
Why....we might ALWAYS be sleeping AND awake at the same time!
Think of the merits!
/e puzzles.
I wonder if I could give old evolution a kick start towards the compartmentalized brain?
Hrmmm....step one would be to get into medical school, then seek an focus on the brain, then possible another degree in biochemical process, and then numerous years in residency or in a lab, then tons of years doing research, IRB approvals, and and...
/e trips over a book.
Oh hey! a book on brains and their uses, "Mucking around with your Brain for fun and profit!"
I KNOW which path I'm taking.
/e flips the book open. "Chapter 1. So you wanna evolve your brain? Hrmm....fluff!"
"Chapter 2. Getting to know your trepanation tools."
Now we are talking!
