The New Walk Power

I'll have to add my voice to the others congratulating you and the rest of the team on the walk animation.

As well as add my voice to those requesting the use of abilities while walking.
It just seems more villainous/heroic to do your deeds at a slow walk.

And of course the mental picture of a dominator calmly walking into the bank, fire imps skittering about his feet, flames rising from his hands...

I mean, my fortunata is impressive enough hovering in mid air, a web of psychic energy linking her and her allies to the immediate future...

HA! I never thought about that think i might give that a try in a little here thanks for the idea!

I've had three observations about the new walk power.

1. I really like it.
2. I was confused about why all powers toggled off when walking.
3. It will be great if/when we can use our other powers when walking.

I'm particularly fond of how walking would fit nicely with the (over?)confident villain / hero walking in to kick some opposing butt.

I was annoyed at the addition of such a seemingly worthless power- right up until the point I turned that baby on and saw some of my dames prancing around the market. Wow! This adds so much detail, depth, and appeal to the same old characters I have been playing for years. Between this, and Ninja run, I am actually RPing a bit and having fun. I only wish there were a way to turn off my blue name above my head that identifies me as a non-npc to other players and just blend seamlessly in with the npc popluation... hehe. That would be too much fun.

Words to the wise aren't necessary- it's the stupid ones that need them.

"You're right...I forgot...being constantly at or the near the damage cap is a big turn off. Definitely not worth it."

Hah! Not at all, I just get a kick out of pretending to feel ackward about it

I am glad someone else out there thinks like I do. I was rather stunned at the response. My first reaction was "way to think inside the box". That was followed by a very brief wave of anger and humiliation-didnt last long- if the internet has taught me anything it is: have a thick skin about the internet, especially on a game forum.

The walk toggle is pretty cool for what it is, which sadly isnt very much. I was just trying to express my ideas to make it more.

Also, my Kat/SR scrapper cuts his left leg off with every step while walking with his sword drawn. So maybe its a good thing the toggle has such limited use, lest my scrapper become a cripple

*laugh* Okay, which dev should I PM about an exploitable bug with Walk? I found a pretty nutty one, but I don't want to post details here.
