Thank you for logging in, Dr_HR.

Click here if your browser does not automatically redirect you.

I have waited for it to load and also tried the click here, and same happens..
i have to try it a few times to get it working.

if it matters im using the lastest firefox. but i've not had a problem in the past with it. (unless i done something i cant think of).

i've just tried it on explorer and it seems to work fine. tho i tried once...i dont fancy trying serveral times on firefox all the time. and dont want to use explorer just for the forums.

any ideas?

The issue is with your cookies.

Here's how you fix it:

1. Click on Tools at the top.
2. Select Options.
3. Look for the Privacy icon across the top of this window and click on it.
4. In this dialog you are looking for "remove individual cookies". It will look like a link.
5. Once this window pops up, you will see a large list of cookies. There is also a search bar near the top. Go ahead and type in cityofheroes.com
6. You will notice that there are at least 4 or more listed. Highlight all of the ones that pertain to the boards (Generally boards.cityofheroes.com) and click on Remove Cookies.
7. Once that's done, you can close out of all of those windows, refresh the City Of Heroes boards and try logging in again.

This should work just fine. If it doesn't, go back into the cookies window, type in cityofheroes without the .com and remove all cookies that have the word cityofheroes in it. Hope this helps!

What browser are you using? What version of that browser? This is the for the latest version of Firefox. This is an issue with cookies. You need to find where cookies are in your browser's settings and remove the City Of Heroes ones so that they can be recreated.

I found that if I don't put a check in the 'remember me' button I have to log in again...and again...but with the button checked, once does it and I stay logged in.

That's Internet Explorer.

Right, you want to be on the General Tab and select the horrifying button that is "Delete Cookies..."

This should wipe all cookies from your PC, and may require you to re-log in to many websites the next time you visit them.

The alternative is to do it manually (so that you only get the cityofheroes.com ones) - Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Temporary Internet Files field > Settings. Click "View Files" on the pop-up, and dig through them. You're looking for a file called "Cookie:username@boards.cityofheroes.com"

Delete it.

It also wouldn't hurt to delete ALL of the files registered against http://boards.cityofheroes.com from that folder.

Once you've done that, close all the boxes, and refresh.
