When Slotting Invention Set Enhancements

This question has been on a my mind for awhile now that I have been playing the markets big time and slotting some great invention enhancement sets.

When a set is made to be +6 slotted to become a complete set for that particular power, and lets say you only have 5 slots available for that power, can you "carry" that extra 6th Invention enhancement over to another power that performs that same such as one AoE to another AoE power or maybe a PBAoE power to another PBAoE power for example?

I've never tried it so that's why I am trying to find out if it would work. Also, if you use one set for example lets say I +6 slot Thunderstrike in a shooting power for my Blaster, can I +6 another power with the same? I do know you cannot combine invented enhancements but was not sure about "reusing" the same again in another power? Which of course would probably tie into my first question about using the same invention enhancement.

So, in conclusion, lets say for example I have my Blaster set up this way:
+5 Slotted with Thunderstrike for her Power Bolt. (Assume 5 slots avail)
+1 Slotted with Thunderstrike for her Power Blast (Assume 6 slots avail)
+5 Slot with lets say Tempest for another Accuracy/Damage Power to fill the set or additional Thunderstrikes if possible.

As I was typing this, I may have answered my own question while reading paragon wiki, which states: "Only one of each of these types of enhancements may be slotted per power". So, I guess I can only use it for one power right? Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks in advance to those who reply.

IO sets operate on a 'per power' basis- if you slot 5 in one power and 1 in another, you won't get the set bonus for six-slotting it.

But you can certainly slot the same set in multiple powers to stack up multiple set bonuses, up to the limit (which I think is 5 of the same % bonus).
My AR/Dev has multiple Thunderstrike sets slotted in different powers, to good effect.

Does that help?

The "one of each type" refers to the specific enhancement. Like you can only slot one Tunderstrike: Acc/Dam within a single power, BUT, you can slot Thunderstrike: Acc/Dam in as many powers as you'd like.

example, you cannot do this (Assume all are thudnerstrike):

(Acc/Dam)(Acc/Dam)(Acc/Dam)

However, you CAN slot Acc/Dam from three DIFFERENT sets (this is refered to as Frankenslotting). The upside is higher enhanced numbers in fewer slots; the downside is no or few bonuses.

This is the rule, though there are exceptions, such as "Uniques", which can only be slotted once per build. Note that all purples are uniques!

Oh, and Crimson demands you play this arc-> Twisted Knives (MA Arc #397769)

The limit is 5 of the same NAME bonus. There are a few cases where the same numeric bonus has a different name and you can stack them. Best known: Luck of the Gambler 7.5% recharge has a different NAME from the set bonus 7.5% recharge so you can have five of each.
