Lady Arete's Excel Badgetool

As subject says this is an Excel sheet I made some time ago and which I have continued to improve and update. Since there was no Badge forum on the previous EU board I did post it on another forum. Now in the new combined forum it should be here in its proper place:

How to use:
It has two main pages, one for heroes and one for villains, each with room for 12 characters. On this page you only need to write your chars name and it is on this page you will see how many badges of a fixed total you have.
The rest of the pages just need their "X" in their proper Cell.
There are a few main categories on the Main page, like Achivements.
Achivements have several sub categories, like Defeat, events etc...
The reason for this that if I should give each subcategory (like in the game) their own cell on the main page...
It would be a very cloggy page imo.

Invention badges:
The only exemp to the rule of mark a cell with an X is the Achivements-Invention (Achivement (is one of the main pages) Invention (is the subgroup of badges there)) so that part of the sheet is protected and cannot be filled out. As it is dependent upon what you do in "Shortcut to InventionProgress" that you find on your main page.
You see I like to know just how many inventions I have made of the various categories. When I finally get a badge, I mark InventionProgress with the X and that X is automatically carried over to the right cell in Achivements-Invention page.

If you find this method not to your liking, just turn the protection bit off on (achivements - invention) the page and mark it with your X. We all are different

Else I try to update the excel sheet as much as I can but I am not a programmer. Sooo there are no macros, no functions that will automatically fill this sheet out for you. Everything must be done by you by clicking (or copy paste later).
I also made a little page in there to have knowledge about what on earth I have in the vault on various chars (saves me from going to the vault to check out the contents when I'm in WW/BM wondering "to buy or not to buy").

Do give it a try and bring comments, suggestions even help
Hope the Badge list will be helpful (even if you use herostats, glycerine or other lists)

Thanks, well it DID take me abit more then 5 minutes. Try 6 min... (just joking ) Think it came close to a few days combined with tinkering and upgrading it.
It has after all seen some change from what the first version. When I did find out how I wanted it though it went smooth.

What you see is sort of my end result and homage to my little love for badges.

Looks like the Achievement 'Bomb Squad' is not counting.

Hot fix 1.6.2 is up.
Nothing major, just added the "Vigilant" and "Determined" badges. Also known as Loyalty.
Also since we await the arrival of the winter event, I do a pre-emptive adding of these two badges: "Festive" and "Lord/Lady of Winter".
Yes we cannot get them yet, but thought it was silly just to add 2 badges as a hotfix. Since I have not been on test (Im on EU), I believe they are only Event badges and not accolades. Will change it if it is wrong.

Went through it again on the 1.6.2 version, checked the cells and no problem for me. Do you have this problem also in that version?
If you do not get any problem then, then is (hopefully ) fixed

I would recommend you download the newest version. Hopefully it will not be there any longer. I look forward to hear if the newest version works out for you.

With the launch of Issue 17, I have made some small changes to my sheet.
The first post have the link to the new updated Excel sheet.

Added various badges (new ones with Issue 17). MAde two bank pages for hero/villains... due to my own altitis.
Read the Recent changes in the Sheet for further reference.

*Checking the last date I posted* Well about time I did some update on this little sheet.
Ahem
Skipped Issue I-18 and allowed I-19 long in its way, sorry for that.
Updated the sheet to help as Paragon City is "invaded" by Praetorians.
Now i did not want the sheet to be too big, so I made certain that each of the overview pages has 6 slots for Praetorians, as well as the 12 slots for heroes/villains.
Every other page has gotten an extra page for Praetorians.
All badges between last update and current date should be accounted for.
See "Changes" in sheet for what is new.

If you do find some errors do give me a pm about it or say it here, so that I can fix it.
Oh, and previous versions have all been protected (no password), this time I've decided against protecting it. The reason is that somehow I get a problem with Links to various pages or short-cut links in the sheet. In example, I might not get the link from Overview to go to the proper page.
Or in Achievement page there are several shortcuts at the top taking you to "Defeats" or "Day Jobs". Clicking one of them would result in nothing, nor would sometimes "Top of Page", or even "Home" work, with Protected status.

This happens on my pc, it may not happen on yours. If you got suggestions/advice on how to fix it, please do tell me.

Sadly have to say that v 1.9.1 became a non-issue, due to me changing pc. So they did thusly not exist. That means there may be a ghost badge in there somewhere, but I have no idea of its name)
