Logout Crash w/two game instances running
As I understand it, fullscreen mode and multiple instances is bad. I've never tried it myself. I run two accounts frequently without trouble and always do so in windowed mode.
There is a 'slash command' /quit
Finally, what are your system specs? Maybe running two instances is more than some component(s) can handle.

Unfortunately I don't know my hardware off the top of my head (at work now), but I like the window-mode idea. I'll try that tonight. Also, thx for the /quit option. I don't forsee using "dual mode" a lot, but it's a little annoying to get booted out when I do. Thx again for the info.
nVidia cards do not support 2 full screen applications at once. You can run them windowed (but maximized) just fine. Just not as full screen.

I believe the OP's issue might be that he's using a different size resolution for the game than he is for his desktop. Once he quits one game, it's defaulting down to his windows desktop size for the other game screen, ans screwing up his scaling and everything else as well.
Well, the problem did seem to be using full-screen instead of windowed mode. I switched and everything worked fine. Just a note, I was using same game res as desktop res (1024x768) and I do have nVidia card. If I really feel adventurous I might try to play with it and see if I can get it to work in full-screen mode, but this works so I'm happy. Thanks for the help.
I decided to buy a second account for a few reasons, one of which was to ease the process of getting all my alts into my SG. I tried, for the first time, to log into both accounts by running two instances of the game on the same comp. Everything worked fine until I logged out of one of the accounts (and exited that instance of the game). The remaining instance of the game seemed to "freak out". The game window was full-screen but the actual size of the game screen shrunk down to about 800x600 (just a guess but definitely smaller than usual) and my mouse would move but I couldn't "click" anything. I am running Windows XP with latest patches/updates and had no other programs running (other than memory resident stuff). Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?
Also, as a side question, is there a way to logout without using mouse? If this can't be fixed, I'd at least like to have a way to "gracefully" exit the game when it does happen.
