it was orginally going to be Blue Bowman but that name is taken and I'm stuck

this guy also need a name. He is a golden ages tank (INV/SS/FLY)
I do realize he looks alot like statesman but that is purely coincidental. The costume just sort of evolved that way. With him I'm looking for something vaguely patriotic but trying to avoid words like: USA, America etc. trying to resemble USA in theme only without tying myself down to one particular country (I.E. Statesman simply means judge)

for the Bowman, have you tried the name in different languages ?

Blauer Bogenschütze = German

albastru bowman = Romanian

Archer bleu = French


For the second one perhaps

Universalist

Patris = Greek for Patriotism

Patriotismus = German for Patriotism

For the bowman I like Envee's French suggestion but in English: Archer Blue

For the tanker I would go with Revere. It's obscurely patriotic and also lends the character a feeling of unassailability.

don't ask me how i thought of rainbow jester because i normally dont get good names like that

same here. I created a throwaway character so I could check for the names on freedom...threw the wizard preamde set on and gave him grey-Dark powers....figured I'd have a little fun and noir Magician...:P well THAT names wasn't taken

how does Roving Mask sound?

it's kind of a word play on the oldest known archery game Roving Mark. It involved shotting a targert and then shooting the next target from the previous etc.

The archer is a hard one. My son would probably name him Blue McNinja or something silly.

I always like playful or goofy names (Bully the Clown anyone?) so for the patriotic guy.... Patriot James.... get it Patriot Games? Oh come on!!! Ok really I'm horrible with original names. I usually come up with a pretty generic, likely used name then hit the thesaurus (no dinosaurs were harmed in the making of any toons.....) and come up with something. I made a villain - Mental Blocks (psi/earth something) and Terran Salvo (fire/earth something). I'm lazy like that.

Plus I use other languages and mangle them pretty well - Dealg Lesair (I think means like fire sword or something I forget now). My first stalker was some language (I forget since I deleted him) that translated to Soul Theif.

So the internet is your oyster my friend! Steal it's pearl... or something.

for the second one I'm leaning more toward having him look patriotic but have his name be only vaguley patriotic sound (likes statesman isn't actualyl patriotic it just sounds like it)...if that makes any sense at all :P

BUT I need some help changing his costume to fit his name a little better now.

decided to just focus on naming this one

so far I have available on Virtue (decided to role him as a RP character)
Star Siege- I like this name, the only thing is it sounds really aggresive.

Sentinel Star- This is a really good name and I've got it reserved ATM in case I decide to use it.

I'm still kind searching around a bit but mostly I'm trying to find names that are Vaguely patriotic (using words like star is a great way cause people think of the flag) and words that imply defensive abilities, Sentry, Sentinel, Guard, Guardian, etc.

Public Defender - Just need to get that lawyer day job...
Nationalist - I assume it's taken.
Republican/Democrat - Ditto and may be too part cntric for ya.
The Federalist
Constitutionalist
Confederate - too southern probably
Unionist
Plenipotentiary - too much of a mouthful?
