What server?

Although my home is Justice, I've been giving though to dedicating my slots on another server specifically for Kheldians. I have a PB and a WS on Justice and after starting to play my Khelds again, I realize how much fun they are.

So, what server do you all play on?

I'm on Every server, spread about evenly, even my extra slots are spread.

Freedom is the 'most popular' server - unfortunately, with population comes a higher number (possibly percentage) of idiots.

Virtue is generally the second most populated and attracts a lot of Role Players, so if you can stand getting all of your important messages ((like this, dude)) then it's pretty fun and there is always things going on.

I've not noticed any of the other servers having a particularly unique 'personality', though certain SGs have made Champion and Guardian their 'home servers' with varying results... I'll say that I like 'my' SGs on Champion, but dislike 'those other guys', and my SG on Guardian is... Well, they Rule, okay? Fun people. Your mileage may vary.

If you plan on creating a server-full of Kheldians, you might choose a server with a good 'all Kheldian' SG and join up.

Otherwise, I'm not sure there is a difference between servers, except in the case of people 'nesting' in a familiar location.

Remember, wherever you go, there you are!

be Well!

What exactly is that supposed to mean?

I started out on Justice way back in the day, but when population dropped, I moved all my toons to the server with the higher population. I'm a "TF" kind of guy, and when population drops prevent one from regularly doing TFs if and when the "itch" comes.... Well, I go to where the "action" is. That happens to be Freedom.

I guess if that automatically makes me an "idiot," so be it.

I still have fun.

Well, I rolled up a new PB on Freedom last night. I have to say, it was easier to get a team. However, with an increased number of players comes an increased number of idiots. I can't remember when I heard such **** and disrespect spewed in broadcase and local.

Since I'm full up on Justice, I think that I'll give Virtue and Infinity a shot next.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Sheesh... how much money did that cost you?

Well, of course, way back then I didn't have all 44 of them... I actually didn't develop "altitis" until about a year and a half to two years ago....Up until then, I just had 3 or 4 "mains" that I liked to play on.

So, it didn't really cost me a lot.

Now? I'd have to take out a loan or something....lol! That's why when people say "come to (insert server name here)!" I just laugh really hard.

You know, for me, transferring even one character and paying a fee on it seems like a lot of money since I know that technically, the action itself is nothing more than an automatic data-transfer really. Even $1.99 would be a lot for me in this case.

Just so you get a perspective on my MMO spending habits, I recently paid about $700 (CA) for two Liftetime subscriptions to a new MMO and a new graphics card and power supply for one of the PC's to be able to run said new MMO.

Buying more server-slots and AE-slots I see as a reasonable concept, but paying for a character-transfer... uhh... no, that would be too much money even if it just cost a cup-of-coffe's worth. That's how I see it at least.

My original 50 is on Freedom and I'm spread across a couple of other servers. I concentrate my important alts on Virtue however because it's the only server with a reliable raid schedule, or for that matter, any raid schedule. I like rolling in my banked HOs.

Does depend on your perspective, I guess.... For me, if I don't have people I can team with at all hours of the day (and I mean ALL HOURS of the day), then it's not worth it for me... I like to do the TFs, and since 95% of the TFs in the game require you to team up....

...Not transferring my characters over most likely would have been the end of my CoX career. I don't twiddle my thumbs exeptionally well, as I've already pointed out before with my playstyle... (haha)

My Kheldians are evenly split between Virtue and Pinnacle. I have one of each, PB and WS, on each. My Tri-Form WS on Virtue is quickly becoming my main (out of the Kheldians I mean) but I have an SG on Pinnacle, and so I will likely be playing those Kheldians from time to time.

I have characters on all servers but the EU ones, though. The highest levels of my characters are on Virtue, Pinnacle and Triumph, with some midlevels on Freedom, Infinity and Guardian. Actually, my first two mains used to be on Freedom, but I moved them to Pinnacle and Virtue recently, and I plan to eventually move them back. (It's pretty much the only place where I was able to get BOTH the names Jade Dragon and Blue Diamond)

And then there's Joe, who like my signature says, is mainly on Virtue, but actually exists on like five other servers, at one level or another.

So no soloing for you? What about PuGing?!

I rarely solo... Only times I ever "truly" solo is when I'm doing my "min/max" sessions with toons to see how much they can handle by themselves without teaming up. I'd much rather be part of a group effort.

PuG'ing is awesome! More often than not (just so I don't get frustrated by someone who doesn't know what they're doing), I'll put the team together myself and lead it, but if I've teamed with someone before who's done a decent job, I won't have a prob following orders either. Actually, PuG'ing is mostly what I do--I'll do coalition teams when I can, but since a lot of my coalition mates have begun to have vastly different schedules than mine.... PuG's is where it's at. There's juuuuust enough "n00bicity" to add just the right amount of chaos for an exciting mission...

That's what I was talking about before, though... If I happen to work during the day, and want to put together a "night-shift" PuG, it's virtually impossible on any of the low-population servers. Not on Freedom, however... There are people playing on there (enought to do any Task Force--yes, even a Shadow Shard one) literally 24 hours a day.

I once had no problems putting together a Faathim the Kind TF at 4am. There was another time I put together a Dr. Quaterfield at midnight (we got done at 5am--and everyone stayed).

What other servers can you do that on?

Kheld-ed servers for me -
Pinnacle, Victory, Virtue, one on Guardian I keep forgetting, a 'shade on Infinity I'm working up at times, and one on Justice I keep forgetting. Think that's all of them.

Bill, you oughta join us Thursday evenings for the all-Kheld sg/teams on Infinity. It's an interesting experience, and usually a lot of fun.

Hmm, servers with Khelds..

Infinity (Warshade), Justice (Warshade, Peacebringer), Triumph (Peacebringer, Warshade), Pinnacle (Peacebringer, Warshade), Champion (Warshade)

I think that's it. For now.

Victory is my home server, and where all my real characters are. I think I have some lowbies on other servers when I was trying out powersets, but that was it. *sighs* My Victory slots are pretty much full, though. I just made room for 2 more by deleting characters I really didn't like, but I really like the rest.

I filled one slot with my Warshade, which is there to stay. Not sure what to do with my last slot... and I don't really care to spend money on more slots, either. Nor do I want to play on another server. Ay yai.

Anyway, more on track: I have a tri-form PB at 39 on Victory (I'm soon going to run him to 50), and my Warshade will eventually be Human/Dwarf... but he's only 12. I do see a fair amount of Khelds on Victory, too.
