Lighthearted RP Group proposal

I had an idea like this about a year ago, but with the release of Tim Schafer's new game 'BrĂ¼tal Legend', I figure now is as good a time as any to try this. I've always wanted to do a rock and roll cliche group, and this has defined an amazing concept I'd like to try. The group would obviously be lighthearted in nature, filled with outlandishly silly catch-phrases and character concepts, perhaps with a villain group to coincide. This is just an idea at this point, if anyone is interested feel free to throw some ideas at us. Keepin mind this is not a static team or anything like that, just a theme supergroup for fun. Like I said, if anyone is interested, let us know!

Haha, this is great. I had actually just rolled up a villain character named Bloodsocket who is supposed to be a totally metal version of Captain Marvel.

After watching an episode of Metalocalypse backwards, young Will Watson has discovered the secret to power! When he throws up the horns and screams something-that-I-haven't-actually-figured-out-yet, he turns into something that looks like a cross between Lemmy, Gwar, and Frankenstein.

So, uh yeah... great idea.

I was hoping for a blueside group, but Either side could work!
I can see it now... Stevey Stones, masterful bassist and band pretty-boy, found a way to inspire his posse to keep fighting.... buy striking epic poses and flipping his golden locks (Thugs/Pain MM).

Oh, I have no problem with rolling up a blue-side alt for this idea, just wanted to mention that I had a similar idea (who could pop in as a villain).

HaHa! This sounds like fun!

I got a couple ideas for a drummer. Johnny St. John, his claim to fame is "I totally filled in for the Black Crowes drummer for a show in Oakland back in '91!" Surfer-not too bright-slacker type.

OR

An angrier version (think Animal from the Muppet Show)
"WOMAN! WOMAN! WOMAN!"

"No Animal! I said 'BEAT drums' not 'EAT drums'!"

Oooh, I could totally reroll the Pretty Boy lead singer from Norway I used to have, whose voice was powered by the lightning of Thor.

It was pretty Metal.

As I was going up the stair
I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today.
I wish, I wish, he'd stay away.

I would... totally be game for this. I already have a character in my head.

Ok, so where were you guys months ago when I rolled up Purple Bard (now Mystik Paladin) Aka Arithon Kerson- Good looking, and sounding, lead guitarist for a rock band - who also happens to be a superhero in his spare time (think Captan Marvel as played by a young Rick Springfield- in royal purple armor...and a sword!)

Surely Ari isn't the only one who's got powers in that band.....? (goes to drawing board..)

Hahah, utterly hilarious. Mutagenic bassist for sure. Because why not? I'll give him some amusingly apropros power set.
