Second Annual Justice Thanksgiving M&G

Hello Justice! Yes, we're doing it again! We're planning another Justice Server Thanksgiving Special. And everyone is invited!

When
Sunday, November 15th, 2009. We dine at 6pm at Smoke and Ele's house in New Stanton, PA. That's about an hour outside of Pittsburgh.

Specifics
Those coming from a distance and needing a place to stay are welcome to stay with us. I am equipped to accommodate about 5 or so people. If you would rather stay in a hotel I live not more than a mile from half a dozen hotels. I am happy to give you hotel information. Also, Fanny is graciously opening her home for those needing a place to stay as well. She can house about 2 people having a double bed and a couch.

You are not expected to bring anything but yourself. However, if you decide to bring food no one will argue! Just please let me know what you intend to bring. We don't need 12 pumpkin pies!

Please let me know of any food allergies, pet allergies (I have three cats as does Fanny) or anything else that's vitally important. Also, most of you already know, I have 3 kids. You've been warned.

If you'd like alcohol feel free to bring your own. I live by a beverage supplier and a liquor store so I'm sure you can find something. Just let it be known that anyone who imbibes won't be allowed to drive and crash into a tree. House rules! If you got a hotel we'll drive you there. If you've planned on driving back, tough!

The date is firm. If we keep changing the date people get confused. If this date doesn't work for you I sincerely apologize. I hope that it works better for the next event.

Please RSVP directly to my email ( ginn.johnson@gmail.com ) since I do not check the forums that often but I DO check my email -at least- twice a day. Let me know if you're coming, if someone's coming with you, if you're staying or need a place, and if you're bringing something.

Fanny has created a Facebook page so that those people on Facebook can communicate about the event. The page is, however, open for anyone to view. It has information such as hotels, guest list, menu and such. There is also a Justice Thanksgiving Fund that is entirely optional but greatly appreciated. Yayayay it's that time again!

I have a fullsize bed and a couch available for guests. I do share the house with a family and another person (The 2nd floor is my apartment), so volume rules apply after 10pm. I also live in very close proximity to Kadmon so don't be alarmed if you wake up to the sound of space stations crashing/things catching fire when they really shouldn't/something awesome happening.

I will be supplying pumpkin cream pies and the official Justice Cookie Cake. Sugar cookies will also be baked for our guests with peanut allergies.

I thought this was going to be the 29th, or did I misunderstand? The 15th is not all that good for me, as I'll be in the middle of finals. I'll let you know if I can make it as soon as I can.

The 29th was the initial date. However, that is on the tail of a holiday weekend when a lot of people will already be out of town or have other plans/obligations etc. We're hoping this can accomodate the most people possible. Sorry if it's bad for you. I hope you can make it anyway though! We'd miss you!

What part of Pennsylvania? I'm not sure what my schedule will be like that weekend but I'll see if I can make it!

They live near Pittsburg. I will see if I can make it family is driving me nuts about gong to florida for thanksgiving.

Please still contact me for confirmation about attendance so that I can make sure I have enough accommodations for the group. So far we're having a slightly larger turn out than last year. It's very exciting!
