Help me fix my Rad/Rad Defender

I have a Radioactive Defender, currently at level 32. This hero predominately plays on a team. I've never been very good at choosing powers, costumes are my thing, so I'm not sure where I'm going with this guy.

Since I know I don't create good builds, I've been pretty much following DodgerTA's twink guide, but I don't think his is a good fit. I don't think I like the stealth/invisibility direction it seems to be going, and I would like to include Fallout, which his guide doesn't include.

Here is the build so far:

I once asked about Radiation powers in this thread which you might find helpful (the build info starts about half way down). Since my last post there, I've leveled to 50 and got the defense buff from Leadership (whatever it's called), Vengeance from Leadership and the Psychic Defense buff from the Psychic power pool (whatever that one's called as well).

My opinions on the powers hasn't changed much and I'm happy with my current build, power-wise. I'll eventually respec yet again just to switch around some slotting for Set IOs one of these days. I might find something to switch out for Fallout since I primarily group on my Rad/Rad these days but I'm not sure about that.

I agree with the original poster. I wouldn't take the concealment pool on a Rad/Rad defender. Swap one of the powers out for Fallout, start the leadership for the other open slot. I would most assuredly take EM Pulse, Neutron Bomb, and then level 38 would be at your option, but I like the nuke myself. Another leadership power would be good, too. If you really need stealth I would get a run/jump proc and put it in sprint.

By the way, when you get the chance, Lingering Radiation and Aim could use some slot loving.

The build mostly looks good, I'd say, with a few minor modifications.

I suspect the DodgerTA build took the concealment pool to slot more LotG +recharge IOs. (IO set bonus mules, rather than for actual power usage.)

You have basically three power slots you can play around with--to replace the Concealment pool powers. (Invisibility could be used for stealthing missions, but not much else. Grant Invisibility is very nice for teammates and adds a smidge of defense, but the end cost is immense.)

You might:
a) Keep Stealth--it can be very handy for setting up RI if that's your typical opening move.

b) Add all the Radiation Emission powers:
EMP, Fallout, Mutation

I suppose it's polite to rez somebody after using their corpse as a bomb, but not necessary.

c) Grab Electron Haze for more AoE:

This is your most damaging attack, *but* it has significant drawbacks for a Rad/Rad.
-Very narrow cone (hard to use if in the middle of a spawn)
-Unreliable knockback
-Very slow animation

d) Add Leadership powers:

Assault is made 30% more effective by EF.
Both Tactics and Maneuvers are a bit redundant with RI, but RI won't always be up.
Vengeance makes for a nice 1-2 punch with Fallout, though costs 3 powers to get.

Slotting Issues
Lingering Radiation needs accuracy, especially since it's the one of the best ways for you yourself to keep critters in the toggle fields.

You can snag two slots from Health (don't need 'em, you've got a self heal!).

Neutrino Bolt's damage slots only add about 7 hp of damage per IO. They can probably reallocated elsewhere (like to max out damage on Cosmic Burst, and get a Endrdx/Stun/Rech in there--though it looks like you'll only have 3 slots to add there at the moment if you keep the endrdx in Choking Cloud.)

I didn't mention the damage slots in Neutrino Bolt, but I know a lot of Rad users slot ranged damage proc's in the power since it fires like a sub-machine gun. It's another trick in the widely diversified Rad/rad arsenal.
