On topic: I dislike the WoW-esque feeling of the game. I did adore the different stances and how detailed you could make color selection and the bird tails. /want beast stance and hawk tail nao
I LOVE the Character creation aspect of the game, but that is it. Asside that, the game is just too silly. I can get over the 5 foot wide eyes, but the fact that the villians are fools and the Heroes are captain hammer wanna-bes the game just doesn't make me feel like I can make a serious Character.

I paid $50 for the pre-order of Champoins, played the open beta a few times never went back to it. The pre-order still sits in its box waiting to be opened. I'm not going to lie to you, champions is Shite for lack of a better word.

Well, someone had to do it.. may as well be me.
Not only do i play it, i'm also a Lifetime account. Knowing me, i would pay for 6 months or a year at a time and forget to pay it long enough to cover the price anyway... plus you got 16 character slots instead of 8. (The STO Beta entry was a nice bonus, but it was the doubled slots that really got me)
It has it's pros and cons, i could easily list a bunch of cons.. but it's fun and i've made some fun characters (like my main, The Cramp). I have to admit, the Super-Jump animation "feels" a lot better. It almost makes me feel like CO is like Marvel to the DC-like world of City though... one's prettier, one's grittier.

I find that funny because as a DC Elitist, I find CoH much more like Marvel and find Champs much more like Archie Comics.
And really, DC is the clean one, it's Marvel that has all the suposedly "Gritty" story lines. Even though that's just Quesada saying: "HEY! Don't read that Intelecually inspiring story from Grant Morrison, read Frank Miller's misoginistic Take on DareDevil, a guy who maliciously kills people and then calls himself a good guy."
