i wanted to try rad but without easy pling its not worth my time pveing.

i remember seeing you there, iirc you had medicine and cold mastery which kinda puzzled me. would you mind posting fully what you use and your attack chain?

There was a second one I saw ther last night. As well as a traps defender.

As solo said medicine and cold?! And don't you have a deva proc in CB as well? The build seems a bit odd.

Duel me.
I will work on my sig pic more when I have time.

i am a old pvper just recently getting back into it... the military keeps me deployed alot :/

will post my set up here from mids. i am sure there are better configs out there for rad/em.

i am considering swapping out med pool for assault and tac... not sure though.

I'm unsure why you have slotted two pieces of achilies in each attack. I can assure you that the 1.5% dam buff it offers is less than fully enhancing the damage of said power.

I'm also confused why you have the hold proc in CB. It already stuns. Plus it makes your acc slotting of the power ridiculously low.

I dunno, doesn't look that bad, but you have some weird choices and I'm not sure you need both hiber/hoarfrost +aidself, you should be killing things faster than that kind of staying power provides imo.

Wasted way to much time in game today and Monday is my busiest day of the week. I will poke at this when I get home tomorrow.

Heres what I was going for with my pvp rad/em so anyone reading this thread will have another build to look at, I noticed you had a bunch of kb protection in urs, whats the relative cap on kb where you wont ever have to worry about it?

I have to mention that after testing with a rad blaster its worth using the dmg/mez HOs in CB. That plus power boost is amazing on squishies.

With the changing of NB, I find rad/em blasters a lot less menacing then i thought they would be.

^^ This... I've not been impressed with the ones I've come up against so far. The beauty of Rad Blast from a Corruptor standpoint is the really fast recharge on Neutrino Bolt especially, which allows you to stack -def quite a bit and is awesome once Scourge starts to kick in. At 4 and 8 seconds much of that threat is eliminated, not to mention Blasters don't have Scourge. It's also harder to build and maintain Defiance with longer recharge times on those powers, though I'll admit that Cosmic Burst is still pretty awesome.

That being said, here's the build for the Rad/EM I had planned out before they changed the set - I think I'm going to go with Fire/EM now, though.

I'm also confused why you have the hold proc in CB. It already stuns. Plus it makes your acc slotting of the power ridiculously low.

I dunno, doesn't look that bad, but you have some weird choices and I'm not sure you need both hiber/hoarfrost +aidself, you should be killing things faster than that kind of staying power provides imo.
yes i need to take that proc out of CB. i hardly miss though espec with bu and aim. i need to ditch aid self i think. not using it as much as i thought. ty for Feedbks.

The KB i was shooting for would be 40. i got it to 37. i havnt been KBd but maybe 1 or 2 times in a 3-4 day pvp benge in RV lolz. i was super debuffed at those few times as well.

35 points will stop 90% of what you'll come across in zone. Only thing that'll get through that would be Power Push and Force Bolt as far as ranged attacks go, and Power Thrust and Telekinetic Thrust in melee.

Quick question that I think applies here becuz rad/em, or blasters in general seem to be going mostly for cold mastery ancillary. Does Snow Storm have an accuracy check, or is it auto, show I bother puttin an accuracy/end enhanc in there or just go with end redux as the acc will be useless?

It's autohit.

Tested new build with assault/tac swapped out for stim/aidself (RV for a few hours today). Working alot better... Missing alot less, confuse+fear times reduced, little bit more damge. Rad needs more as it is. gets the job done Great pvp in RV constant shifting of control. Swarming with stalkers today. went into hyber had 5 stalks around me waitin for it to down but only 3 of them got the kill lol! not enough HP to go around fellas would a temp phase power work as an exit from hyb?

hey mac on your set up for rad/em i was curious to why you needed the reticle IO for perception? is tac not enough? we already know that a stalk with correct stealth slotting cannot be seen out of hide. jsut tac was working fine for me today for stealthy corrs.

Yes but the temp phase takes a while longer to activate than the pool phase does (3 seconds versus 0.5 seconds, and the temp phase costs over twice as much endurance to run). You can queue it up when you drop out of Hibernate and hope you don't get killed in the 3 seconds it takes to activate, and if you do manage to get into phase just remember that the 30-second phase period begins counting down as soon as you go into Hibernate, so if you spent 25 seconds in Hibernate you'd spend 3 more seconds activating the temp phase, which means you'd only stay phased for two seconds afterward.

More perception is a good thing, helpful for seeing VEATs (Tactics alone won't be enough to see them at their stealth cap, I believe) and it's that much less external buffs have to cover for when you're trying to hit your perception cap - for example, something with Targeting Drone or Focused Accuracy can hit the cap with FA/TD, Tactics, and the IO.

I'm pretty sure the temp phase does not cost any endurance to run. I use it after my T9 crash with 0 endurance for a few seconds and I stay phased.

There's a click version that doesn't, but the Hyper Phase power (toggle) does.

Right, you guys were probably talking about the Warburg one. I usually just buy the Etherel Shift from the WW or BM.

I will answer this for you Mac if you don't mind. Well tactics does give off an exta percentage to perception. However, with the Rectified Recticle, it will combine that extra 20% bonus with tactics. Also I do not because it is better slotted on a toggle because it says on the Mids program, "20% enhance perception" versus a 20% chance of 20% perception bonus. but I am sure that with tactics is tacful to picking up stealthier foes.
