Hard to find a good SG/VG?
Is this where I insert the obligatory plug for The Supreme Society? We're classic take-over-the-world villains.
You can check out our SG here to see if this is what you'd be interested in

I recommend Supreme Society for villainy, see link above.
I also recommend Paragon Universe, for heroes. I have little direct experience with PU, but they have a role player I very much admire, they have a superb web site and support structure - and they are extremely accommodating to newcomers. They also have a great reputation to anyone I've asked, so I feel good recommending them to you.
Our group, is pretty, sparse, tight and very casual in terms of frequency of play. So we're not a good fit. However, if you just need a little RP, and you see me online, feel free to look me up via global: @Ravyna. The link to our group is here: Alpha Squad Web Site
Well if you need a great SG and your heros are girls, Well look No further than the Justice Girls. See my Sig for the link to our Site. Good Luck
Well, Dragons of Ruin and Raiders of Ruin(sister VGs) are always looking for new recruits! Heres a website you can visit:

Hope you join!

Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.
good luck D.B.B.
Both The Dauntless Reverie SG and the Anathema VG are opening their doors in October for membership applications. Both are very friendly, laid-back groups who RP pretty much all the time, both in general RP and teaming. The Dauntless Reverie has been in existence for over 5 years, and Anathema since the beginning of CoV.
The Dauntless Reverie is a (RP) supergroup comprised of heroes whose lives have been touched by magic. They are multitudes: creatures of legend, descendants of the divine, visitors from fantastic worlds, tormented hellspawn, and students of the arcane. But they are all Dauntless: mystic heroes thrust into an urban setting. There are plenty of "classic" fantasy heroes in the Dauntless, like elves, elementals, and wizards. But The Dauntless Reverie does not require a magical origin, simply a magical role-playing context.
The Anathema VG is a community of sorts and home to a number of outcasts, fugitives, extortionists, arsonists and varying and sundry other vile individuals. They come from all paths, be it from the power of Technology, Science, Magic, Mutation, or through some Natural design. These gathered have deemed it worthwhile to commune together. Some do it for protection, others for access to the Warrens, the home of Anathema, and still others do it simply because there is nothing better happening in the Rogue Isles.
For more information, you can check out the website, www.dauntlessreverie.com , which includes not only CoH/V game-related posts, fiction and artwork, but also a lively assortment of day-to-day topics. Feel free to check us out.
And you can also take a look here on the Virtue forums at our October recruiting thread
Also, the Dauntless Reverie will be holding our 6th Annual ECHO, a Virtue-wide, all-heroes invited RP party. If you’d like to attend and check us out then, or talk with us at any time, feel free to drop a tell to me, @Rhianwen, or any of the Captains listed in the October Recruiting thread.

I good trick is to say that you have a fully functional catapult that also has an Eski that's full of cool brewskies.
You can contact me in-game about FORCE if you'd like. We have regular RP Days on Thursdays and Sundays, and we interweave long running storylines, if that's your thing.
You might have a look at this link over into the SG recruiting forums for the Global Defenders: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=191023
Howdy, a friend and I have been looking for good Hero/Villain groups to join in with for a while now, and finding it a bit hard to catch one that might suit us. We've both been RPers for ages (just haven't had the chance in this specific game yet), are very much NOT drama queens, and are just looking for some people who're fun to rp and play the game with.
So just curious if anyone knows any groups on either side which are heavy RP, but without the ERP, Godmoders, Catgirls or general Anime horribleness. Something along the lines of more classic hero/villain type groups (since that's the setting we're in).. Doesn't really matter how big the group is, but I'd imagine somewhere in the middle would be good. Too small and you never find anyone, too big and you just become a random face in the crowd.
We also like to actually play the game itself, so a group that teams up and goes out and does stuff now and then would be great as well.
I'm sure theres a good few suitable groups out there on both sides, I've just had a horrible time trying to find one for us. So I figured this couldn't hurt.. So if you know of one that might suit us, and that we might suit, slap down the info and hopefully we can get together!
