Problems with the In-Game Store

Calm down. Seriously. Go make a cup of coffee and relax.
I lost a slot too, but when the online store comes back (and it will come back), it will be available. You didn't lose anything. It's in the ether.

Also, the people who make this beautiful game are not the same people who are working to fix this problem

I too still can't re-create my toon (on Union), even deleted another toon but no go.
Now I'd like to ask if we could expect to be granted a free server transfer ticket if one would create a toon on a less occupied server until the store is back.

I am not able to access slots that i have purchased they say unavailable even though i have gotten them long before. they are not slots i have yet to purchase they are slots that i have bought in the past????? why is the store causing things that i already have purchased to be locked out??????

The Dev's have been TOTALLY absent this past week. No patches to fix bugs. The Store not working at all, making charcter creation impossible. I am very very very disappointed in you guys. Not even an announcment saying any kind of problems in house... If this lack of Dev activity, right after a release of an Issue, is due to the H1N1 Flu from PAX, then an announcment saying so should be in order, so people know that their complaints are not falling on deaf ears, just really sick ones. |

On the positive side, the devs do seem to be still working on this (however quietly) - I was just able to log in on Infinity and recreate the alt I was planning to, with the name I wanted to re-use. Phew!
Guess they didn't abandon the issue over the weekend after all. Thanks devs!

While you are correct in sarcastically asking me if it's a coincidence (making the answer obvious), you aren't correct in telling me through underlying snarkiness that they're being managed by the same development team.

The big problem I am having with the Online Store has to do with Story Arcs.
I currently have my 3 Story Arcs and I want to buy 5 Story Arcs for $19.99.
If I try to buy 2 Story Arcs for $9.99, the message comes up that "Purchase two additional story arcs..." etc. That's fine, but it's not what I want, so I cancel the sale
However, when I try to buy 5 Story Arcs for $19.99, the message comes up that "Purchase one additional story arc..." etc. That ain't so good.
It is probably just a typo and I would probably get the 5 Arcs I pay for, but after 5+ years I have learned that "probably" often means "who knows?"
So I'd like to get confirmation from someone that spending the $19.99 will actually purchase the 5 arcs, irrespective of what the sale page says, because I don't want to have to jump through hoops getting credit for 4 more arcs, getting refunds on my credit card, telling my credit card company to refuse payment, or whatever.
So: Simple issue, simple question, should have a simple answer.

Just an fyi that NCsoft was working on the in-game store issue, and services were restored on Saturday, September 26th (within 24 hours of the service outtage ). We are continuing to monitor the issue, and did not want to call an "all clear" without more data.

I'm confused. As far as I could tell, the store was off-line, at least every time I logged in, from the scheduled downtime on Wednesday through sometime Saturday. (I wasn't on-line between Saturday noon-ish central time until late on Sunday, so I can only assume it was restored somewhere in there.)
That's a lot more than 24 hours...

It was up on Friday briefly, but then brought back down again.
Ah, OK. That makes sense then. It also explains why sometimes people were able to access their extra character slots, but sometimes not.

I used it Monday night and it worked for me.
