This is not an attack on anyone who thinks the game is too easy, especially the TFs, but a simple question:

Why are you still playing a game you think is too easy/boring? Especially if you have little to no faith that things will be fixed to your satisfaction. The "there's nothing else to play" excuse might have been valid before, but not these days. I'm just curious as to why there seems to be so many people that enjoy the pain they put themselves through to keep logging in.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

1. Some people (like Smurphy) aren't still playing. It's not so much that he finds the rest of the game too easy and boring as much as it is the single most fun he has in game is blowing the snot out of people on +2 through +4 Task Forces with enemies buffed and players debuffed. He cares about that feature more than anything else.
2. Personally, I forgot to cancel the autopay before another 6 months were subscribed.
3. I do have faith that it will be fixed. Hence me posting here and asking about "how's this going" as opposed to "you stink and I hate you." The devs do a pretty awesome job. I just want them to be awesome in the Task Force difficulty direction.

I'm a long term subscriber, I've had several years of loving the game and so was on a 3 month cycle that I'm sadly in the middle of, I don't really log in anymore and my faith in a fix has faded with time. The occasional SG event in Flashback or regular team where we can actually fight enemies that are half credible and thats about it, but my auto renewal is now off for the first time in 4 years.

I was in the middle of soloing a brute using flashbacks but even that has been abandoned in the face of aggrivation and frustration over this issue meaning I don't even want to boot the game up.

For 4 months we've heard the same line "It's complicated, a fix is coming sooner rather than later, there's a promising patch being tested" and now vague hints of it being a feature of I17. Since when did fixing something that you screwed up 6 months back count as a feature? Because people who joined the game in the half half year don't know any better?

A 6 month turnaround just smacks of unimportant backburner fixes and to me really indicates who they want as a playerbase, and it isn't the +2-4 fighters...

The pellet with the poisons in the Vessel with the Pessel, the Chalice from the Palace has the brew that is true...
