The time has come... (Story Permissions)

I've gotten some inspiration, thanks to Khell, and the time's come again for me to think about writing another parody/story.

Here's what I've written in the past featuring other people -

A Christmas Folly
Guardian Angel

And a couple others that aren't finished they weren't anyone else's characters anyway shut up.

The point of this thread...

I like to feature people in my stories. But I won't do so without their permission. If I have your permission to use your character in my story, would you please post it here? I'm not publishing this anywhere but on this board for our amusement, and it's more "If you want to see your character in my story let me know." :3

If you have a character of mine in mind, Essex, they're all yours so long as you inform me of what you intend to do with them. My characters cover a wide range, so I could probably point you to another that would make more sense for a given situation.

Sure, go right ahead. I even have an online list of mine and some friends' characters these days for easy referencing.

My character list is just so erratic...I've made and discarded so many characters over time...Nothing is ever the same. I've even entirely forgotten some of my "trademark" characters. :/ But, I've been making an effort with my current characters. (Actually leveling them up, for one thing...) so hopefully they'll stick around for a while. For the ones I plan on keeping, I'll send you details, and you have permission to use them as you will.

While I would doubt you want to use any of mine, you have full permission to do so should you so desire.

You're more than welcome to use any of my characters, Ess... although if you want to use Danny, you may need a hand with the dialogue

I'm intrigued, but, I have no idea what kind of characters you would need or use, so, any further info you can give?

Really, I'm trying to cast a parody, so I'm trying to get a good pool to choose from. :P I've already got a few of the main characters chosen.

I don't really want anyone (who hasn't already heard due to my own blabbermouthing ways) to know what exactly I'm parodying until I get it started, but it should be fairly easily identifiable once I get started proper. :3

If you want a wide range of characters I have about 30 or so RP characters that you could pick from, including the ones from my sig. ... and another handful or so that I don't RP on.

Just PM me some details if you want to and I'll let you know what I have.

Everything from robotic to laid back to good and evil, and one that's quite quiet.

So I just went and read the two stories linked in the OP, and now I'm just sort of sitting here all lost for words.

I'm sure you could if you gave it a chance. Don't be afraid of 'not measuring up' to those stories. Let them inspire you. Heck, I don't know which one it was anymore, but I do know it was one of Essex's stories that got me started writing Just A Stranger. I never would've put that down here if I hadn't been inspired by her.

I gotta echo Rebel. Feel free to use my characters should you have the need for them.

And yes, awesome stories are awesome.

Thanks for the encouragement but I think I'll stick to writing for RP threads. Though I do have to wonder what those SPC guys in Guardian Angel would think of some of my characters

Hm, of mine, Last Prince of Mars would probably work well in a parody, since I play him as non-serious anyway.
