Feral Kat artz!

I believe I asked once about the tail... Someone miscolored it or something, made it flesh colored? And I believe she said costume when I asked then.

As for the double ear thing... I guess I just assumed. Her hair does cover where they would be in the vast majority of the arts.

Edit to add:

The ask and answer are on page two of this thread... I knew I had some reason to think costume...

But costume or not, there's no avoiding having an artist use the tail in a more "real" way... It makes the art that much cooler and having it just always dragging on the ground behind her would be boring.

I also uploaded a few older pieces that were missing from my gallery, as well as a couple NSFW WIPs.

I don't mind one way or another really.

I always assumed that her tail and ears were part of the costume, but I agree that means that the tail should be lifeless when it most of the pictures, it's not. Without a solid answer though, we'll never know.

Feral Kat and Mike Honcho by Rhardo! Mike Honcho is the namesake character of another long time SG member and all around great guy.

Oh, and despite his costume, Mike Honcho is actually a hero...basically.

I dunno about 'hero'! Another great piece, Kat! Congrats.

LOL, well, that is how Mike described him when I asked him to post his pic and info on the SG website.

Glad you like it Bobi!

That came out great, congrats!

Like I mentionned somewhere else, I just love how that little fog/shadow was included to have the section in the light really stand out. This could have been colored really straight out and that little twist really adds a nice punch to the piece.

I agree Thorny, makes me wish there was a background.

Just imagine the background is an incredibly thick fog

Very nice one, there! One of my favorites so far. I'm a sucker for a very well executed B/W ink piece.

Hot, as always

Thanks Jophiel and Caemgen! I think I am going to have to try and get that one colored once I get the full sized piece.

Now that one is totally awesome... Love everything about that one from the cat on your back to the expression on your face to how the detailed ground and wall contrast to the minimalist detail on the outfit.... Very great piece.

(and, errr, I'll not diminish my praise by pointing out how freeking hawt the pose is.)
