Can't go wrong with CH as a ref I say.

P.S. after I noticed there was in fact a background in this picture (lol) I gotta say that concrete is amazing. So believable.
From Mad Men? I am pretty sure she wasn't the reference. And I am glad someone noticed the background. I think the artist did a great job!

Thanks VexXxa! Glad you like them.

They're all great arts... But really, if you want people to notice the backgrounds you may want to consider different main subjects!

What I want to know is the story about the two of them fighting together!?! Did someone slip her some of the red katnip??

Was wondering when you would pipe up. I mean this image has been up for like 2 days... losing your touch?

What I found most amusing is the little train in the foreground appears to be carrying lumps of coal.

I didn't even notice that. Leave it to CR to point out the little things.

Awesome piece, Kat

I noticed the coal but since, to me, they look like piles as opposed to big hunks, they seemed more fuel for the train than gifts for the naughty... Nice detail either way though.

What makes the pic for me is the expression and the little wave gesture. To me it's as if she was just found in that predicament and she's saying "Yeah yeah yeah, very funny. Now help me outta this!" All in a semi embarassed/frustrated tone.

Actually, I didn't notice the coal either!

And I agree, my favorite part is the expression. I suggested to the artist after seeing a rough sketch that it should be an expression of bemusement and I think it turned out great.

Yeah I'm kinda known for noticing obscure details, heh.

I know many artists add Easter Eggs for the observant to find,
heck I've even done it a few times but I don't think anyone's spotted mine yet.

Kitty wants her food now, NOW and will not wait for you to be fully awake.

Cancel the kitchen scraps for widows and lepers, no more merciful beheadings and call off christmas!

Exactly!

I like the body proportions in that one... they look very real, specially the thighs. Really gives the piece some life in my eyes.
