Well ctrl alt del worked. I assumed its a bug, but I cant open the options window and keep it open, same with the logging out window.

Sounds like you have a bug there. It's working the way it should for me. Try verifying the files the next time you log in to see if you have a messed up file.

If you're having trouble getting the options menu opened with your mouse, you can also open it by typing /, then Q will give you the quit window. Failing that, yeah, verify your files, failing that, file a support ticket (through the PlayNC website I guess, since ingame petitioning won't be an option for you).

EDIT: Sorry I just noticed your reg date, you sounded like a newer player, so I apologize if you already know any of this.

You can also just type /quit to do the same thing.

That happened to me once - the logout dialogue box (you know, the one that says go to the login screen or quit to desktop) was vanishing before I could pick an option, and even if I did, the countdown would mysteriously disappear long before ever reaching zero.

It turned out I had a joystick plugged in that I'd forgotten about, and it was ever so slightly not zeroed - not off by enough to actually make my character move, but enough to make the game think I'd "hit any key to cancel".

Thanks that was exactly it!
