Hello all. So after 11 levels of elec/elec scrap I deleted the toon and decided to go what I know, burning things. This is my first serious scrapper so any help would be much appreciated. Theoretical final build. PvE. Solo and team.

You mention in your original post that this is a "final" build. Are you going to PL this guy? Is that respec build? You are never exemplaring?

I would think you might want some more attacks pre-20 (and pre-10) unless you answer yes to the above questions.

With Healing Flames recharging quickly, I wouldn't think you need as much +regen as you seemed to add. You also seem to have slotted the toggles for a lot more end reduction than is necessary. You could cannibalize some of the slots out of the toggles in order to slot up Ring of Fire or switch to and slot up Char.

You have some expensive IOs slotted, how much of an object is money?

Respec build for sure. I like having a goal. Fire Sword, Cremate and Sands of Mu will hopefully get me through the early levels. This is gonna be my main on blue Virtue so money isn't really a factor.

I think I would go with the following build.

I have given up a lot of the regen, which I feel is unneeded with Healing Flames, primarily to gain another range attack in Ring of Fire. I have boosted max HPs some, as well as given the build extra unsuppressed movement. Using the Performance Shifters gives this build more end efficiency, although I was shooting for the extra +HPs. As far as KB protection goes, I have found that if 4 is not enough, neither is 8. Therefore I have left you with only 1 Steadfast KB IO. I have also found that 4 is almost always enough.

I think I want to play this build, although I am really not fond of the fact that EXing below 39 would start to get really painful. Eh, not a big deal to have a character that doesn't EX well; I guess one could also use a 2nd build if one wanted to get more scrapper attacks in the lower levels.

Can I ask, what exactly do you want to do with this scrapper? Farm? PvP? Solo AVs? Just mission team?

I'm finally playing a scrapper because my off server SG (Go RO! Go!) has an all scrapper group that runs on Mondays.

Farm? Yes.

PvP? Someday maybe. Was too hurt by the changes not so long ago. My fire/fire blaster was okay at PvP and now... DAMN U!!!

Solo AVs? No. I get the same badge from killing the EB version right? I'll leave the solo AVs to the professionals.

In your original build, I see Combat Jumping, Weave, and a steadfast Unique, and no other sources of +Def.

Yes, this will stop some incoming damge, but not a heck of a lot. I'd either drop Weave and the Unique, freeing one power pick and saving 5-10 million inf (keep CJ for the Immob protect though), or slot for more defense.

O-Liner, eh? You ain't got any "team-friendly" powers in the build. Or are you dual building?

Temp Protection is only useful as the set mule and for slow debuff resistance. Some of the shielders have Grant Cover for that problem.

On the best of nights the defense from the team is 15-18%.

I would recommend grabbing one of the newer PBAoE sets for Consume. Same or better (Oblit) recharge and better set bonuses overall (Eradication gives you more max end and better max hp). For the defense bonuses you have to grab the proc (and another slot), which isn't terribly effective on a long-recharge AoE.

You also stop just short of +def bonuses on a number of sets.

Maybe another way to squeeze a knockback in, instead of Temp Protection (even if you're running only one -kb as Stratonexus recommends) is putting a couple Breath of the Zephyr in CJ--which certainly doesn't need endredux.

Does RotP need more than the default slot?

You can always use your first build as a leveling/exemping build and then make this your second one. You save a respec that way too.

hey , i know this thread is a lil old but could any1 possibly come up with a leveling build for this?

i love the idea behind burn+burn+blaze, possibly a lil squishy in the earlier levels.
