Thank you, I will be back asap, as I love this game dearly - nothing else has managed to keep me from playing my offline games and has stopped me buying a wii (it would only gather dust).
Work is becoming more stressful, and when I am not sleeping, rest/recovering the one thing I like to do is play city of for a while to unwind. But with the router needing resetting as much as 6 times in a night...
... sometimes in as many minutes.
There is hardly any lag but the rubberbanding is also getting more and more prevalent, which again I am putting down to the router dropping packets left right and centre.
I Will be back - preferably with a wired connection, as I have 'had it' with wireless.
GRRR. It even needed resetting 'again' just so I could finish posting this.

Hmm, your landlord has it plugged in and you got wireless. Lots of concrete between you and the router? What kind of Wireless reciver do you got (letter g->)?

My adapter is a G+mimo it is positioned directly above the room where the router is, so not a lot of concrete or obstructions.
The service he uses is virgin media. But the box is not, its one he bought himself, and it is old by todays standards. So that is possibly another cause.
It may just get to the point that I will go out and buy a proper gaming router, and new adapters (goodbye £200+). But at the moment, I cannot justify that just to play a game.

Pfft... even I'm keep getting dropping issues. However it's my computer rather than my connection. I'll get it sorted though, although I can't fit anymore extra RAM in it (being an 4 year old laptop only goes upto 2Gb) I'll find a way to get on CoH whatever the cost!

I never thought I would be posting this, But.
Due to a rubbish router and also on a wireless network, where the net keeps dropping at the most inoportune moments, i.e. midway through a TF or even worse, just at the end.
The landlord who owns said router says there is no problem (he is wired connection btw) my account will remain active and i will probably pop back once in a while. But until i can get my connection sorted out...
