Assault Rifle-Butt Strike

Is there a way to copy over the animation for the rifle butt strike that is used by longbow to players brawl power. The way shield bash alternates with kick on my shield/sword scrapper looks great. It would be cool if the same were possible with assault and pulse rifles.

Given that some of the alternative Martial Arts and Super Strength animations seem to be sped-up variants of older power, I don't see why not. And, yes, I would VERY much like to see the assault rifle butt replace Brawl for Assault Rifle.

I'd like to see it alternate. If you use Brawl with no weapon drawn (or on a character that doesn't have a weapon) it alternates between a right punch and a left punch.

Leave the left punch alone and set up an alternating system between a kick and a butt-strike for what would be a right punch.

(Hmm, butt-strike sounds like a completely different kind of attack altogether doesn't it?)

Partly because it is. It's an Arachnos Soldier attack called "Pummel" which I love to use as a finisher on my SoA, even if it is weak, it suits his "Prisoners talk" style more.

I would be all about some variety; punch, kick, head-butt, hell anything to make brawl more interesting. I almost never slot my brawl unless its with a knockdown proc. My shield scrapper knocked a possesed scientist out of the air before he could land a two fisted blow and I actually got a good laugh out of it. It doesn't take much to make me happy but I find minute details are very important to me. The new super strength animations offer some cool variety but as usual on assault rifle love. Did get a bit of gadget love though. Butt strike , gadget love...sounds like an all together different thread. Gonna get banned if I keep it up...Doh! there I go again! Gonna quit while i'm ahead.......dang it!

I'd like this as an option, even if it is slower. I'm not calculating my DPS when I bust out Brawl; most of my characters don't even have it in the tray. Notable exceptions are characters will cool alternate Brawl animations (Shield, Katana, etc.).

It is. But from looking at it, it seems like the animation is the exact same length.

I think Vanden meant "They're not sped up" rather than "They're not the same animation"
