No help for me? I know someone has a creative way to make my spines toon look good! Anyone? Please?

So I want to give this a whirl, but I feel like I need more information. Do you have any sense of his personality and background at all, or is he totally un-fleshed out? Does he swing sort of dark and gothic, or urban prowler, or highschool jock (just kidding!)? helpy my imagintion focus to have a bit more!s
Honestly no. I just created him because I wanted to play a spines/dark toon. Never had a back ground but I did usually see him as dark and gothic. With the name I think I was going for a Edgar Allen Poe type feel for some reason. Kind of the brooding hero I guess.

Spines can be modified now, so that should really help your look.

What do you mean you're playing the game? That's silly! It's just I16....
Seriously though. I think I pigeon holed this toon with the name. I love the name but for some reason it's not fitting together in my head with spines/dark I guess. I can't delete him since he just hit 50 on Sunday along with my son's first 50 a spines/fire. Heck he even wrote a school report about it.
Speaking of which I need to post some of his arts. He's 11 so it's not great but I'm a dad and just about everything he does is awesome to me.
Well, costume I'd have to mess with, but story wise....here's a go at it, kinda creepy fair warning
His name is Nathanial, and was a normal guy, one day gets a letter that he has inherited the estate of a great uncle he never knew about. Was an eclectic guy, old house full of strange things, some magical. For some reason, he says there, maybe he needed a place to live, maybe he was sick of roomates, whatever, and starts poking around at things and finds a widget/plot device with a raven on it and a note attached to never open it someplace dusty and/or secret roomy. In the vein of Poe, it haunts him until he just has to open it, maybe seeing birds flying around, or hearing them where there are none. When he does open it, there's a still mostly alive raven pinned to the bottom of the widget/plot device, and it breaks the seal on a family curse the bird was a substitute for, so metal spines, dark powers, can't get rid of it or rest/die til he atones for something his family did long time ago.
Maybe that'll give you some inspiration
