You can replicate the effect now with Nukes. My understanding of it is to spread the different teams apart to the Nukes can hit an entire group with the regen buff and then work fast.

It's next to impossible to keep your team within 30' during the nucleus beatdown, and line up your exit path and make the 2-4 jumps fast enough to keep from dropping anyone.

I've seen people do it, in fact I did it myself, but that doesn't mean I think it's the best way.
yeah...i was just thinking along the lines of the "get the hell outta there" moment that people that have never run one may not be aware of

And I really don't mind doing the research and learning the new raid style but it all stays theory as long as no one is willing to jump in and give it a go.

I have also read about the massive benefit of having Nukes from Warburg and making sure everyone has jet packs to stay within striking range - especially when most scrappers shouldn't and don't have fly as their TP.

I'd appreciate if we could just spread the word on Pinnacle to see who is interested. I've got several of the 'golden oldies' still in our SG that have said they are up to a Hami Raid. I sure can't lead this without seeing what it all entails from the beginning but it doesn't really look like anyone else wants this riding on their shoulders.

*looks around for any raised hands*

Maybe the best thing to do would be to just take some 50's through the beginning stage just to get our feet wet and understand what we are up against if it really is a 'rise, wash, repeat' recipe. I'll be doing this toe-dipping with some of my SG knowing we won't be running the raid at that time.

Ill join you for that. Once we get it down I would glady lead the real thing if no-one else wants to.

I'd.

EDIT: To clarify, this was in reference to redside raids. It was supposed to quote Chickenmilker's post, I screwed something up.

So Red or Blue side first? Who is Vent Hosting? When?

preferably soon, like this weekend.

Depending on when it's happening I can lead a scrapper kill team on blueside. I've only run one, so I would not be comfortable trying to lead the whole thing. A team I can handle.

Unfortunately I don't have Vent though.

If we do it on a weekend I would be able to do it...since school is back in session I'm working during the week...I would be able to help organizes some of the trollers

Lets do Blueside first since that is apparently the more challenging one.

I think you misunderstood me. Blueside has a couple of factors that make it easier (Empaths, Stone Tanks, Regen Scrappers are all pretty common). Given those factors, a Red side raid can be easier, but since they're not generally present, it's often not (you have to get nukes to have a similar buff, and the most common flavors of Brute don't work the same way a Regen Scrapper does on Yellows).

I suppose when you get right down to it, my preference for Red has nothing to do with anything except my personal preferences.

It will be easier to get people for a blueside right? Once we do that and get people interested in Hami Raids again we can then do a redside.

Also all I have redside is a crappily enhanced stalker lol.

My schedule sucks right now, but depending on when y'all run this I'd be up for testing. I ran a few blaster teams while Fashion Sense was organizing things.
