Hi guys
I am new to playing a brute and decided to make an Electric/Electric one because of the AoEs but now the hard part has come. Im not sure what powers to pick or how to slot the powers...I have made a build in mids can you please look it over and tell me what i should change to make this AT an Electric Goddess......

Also, your build needs a little doctoring.

First things first, you shouldn't use Membranes in Conductive Shield because the power doesn't really benefit from those since it doesn't have a defense (de)buff or tohit (de)buff aspect which Membranes could increase. All those Membranes do in your Conductive Shield is just make it recharge faster. What you really want to do to Conductive Shield is to add Resistance and Endurance reduction values like any other usual armor toggle.

Force Feedback +Rchg proc is broken in Lightning Rod and similar powers that summon a pseudo-pet instead of being a straight out attack from you. If the proc fires, Lightning Rod (the pet) will get the recharge, not you.

Peroxisomes' +mez aspect doesn't help Ball Lightning at all since it doesn't do any mez, making the use of Peroxisomes a waste.

Power Sink doesn't need any accuracy enhancing because the power is autohit. Slotting the Efficacy Adaptor pieces that have accuracy is a waste. Eg. Rech/Acc when there's Endmod/Rech available in the same set.

Why 4 Ribosomes in Grounded? Not only you're hitting the ED cap very hard on a passive power, you are also trying to reduce its endurance cost of 0. Yeah, it doesn't use endurance for being a passive.

Also, you've already capped your "rule of 5" from bonuses that give +5% recharge and +1.13% HP. You can only get each "strength" of each bonus 5 times before it caps so you can't slot a zillion sets that each have +5%Rchg since it caps at 5. You can slot 5 sets that give +5% and 5 sets that give +6.25%, however.

Power Surge's slots are empty...

Anyway, what do you want from the build? Do you want defense to layer it with resistance? Extreme +rchg? Regen? Mix of things? Judging from the number of HOs and other expensive IOs used, influence or time shouldn't be a problem.

Edit: with Conserve Power turning into Energize, you may want to take that into account as well.

Wait, what? End issues on an Elec/Elec Brute? You can probably make a build without Stamina now, and that's even more possible after I16's addition of Energize. I may still get Stamina for just in case situations, but I'm not sure.

Oh yea im in my mid 30s now with my brute and i have bad end issues. I get to used my attacks maybe 3 times before i run out of end and yes i have stamina. Maybe im not slotted right or something any help would be greatly appriceated

In the 30s, you should still rely on endurance reduction SO's or IOs. It makes a huge difference.

The best advice actually is to dig around on the market in the mid 30's looking for cheap IO sets you can frankenslot. There are many IOs at this level you can buy for less than a SO if you look around.

For longer recharging attacks, look at two slotting mocking beratement rech and rech/acc, which gives you a 1.88% increase to total endurance, and is also dirt cheap.

In general, if you buy uncommon recipes (yellows), you can avoid needing to use rare salvage, and can find some very good deals. Also, not all uncommon salvage in this range is expensive.

Thematically, Scirocco works nicely, giving you several different ranged electric attacks to choose from. Whether you choose to go with two AoEs in the form of Electric Fences and Ball Lightning or a single target in Mu Lightning and another AoE is up to you.

You can also choose Ghost Widow. One of the biggest struggles with electric armor is the lack of layered defenses compared to other sets. If you grabbed darkest night, combined with your handy endurance tools, with some careful choices of your anchor, you could drastically reduce your incoming damage, especially on a defensive IO build. In addition, gloom is a very good attack.

These are the two I would suggest considering.

Is Darkest Night even worth it? The debuff is nice yes but the cast time (3.17s) just really turns me off of it..

Personally, I'd go with elec/elec/mu, but I wanted to let you know of possible options to go with and how they might work. Darkest Night certainly isn't to be used on every spawn, but it can be helpful if you run into something you know will give you trouble.

If you're looking for an AoE monster, Elec/Elec/Mu has a lot of potential with electric fences, ball lightning, lightning rod, chain induction, jacob's ladder, and thunderstrike.

1) 31.4% Melee defense + 15% defense from a [Luck] = softcap defense if needed.
