Social Group: Cross-Server Base Tours

Perez, I'm also sorry I missed it - I haven't been in the game or forums for a few weeks (had to catch a bunch of different flus, you know - gotta catch 'em all!). After Sidhe_Blade gives her tour, might you consider offering another in hopes of getting more of us?

A lot of effort gone into the base and I'm certainly impressed by some of the stacking!


Also some very interesting ideas there including a clever mix of arcane and tech - which is tricky to pull off.

Aaargh! I'm sorry I missed the tour - I got stuck out much longer than expected. I'm glad that others showed up at least. Maybe I'll catch you in-game sometime anyway.

Thanks to Capa and Redlynne for coming and telling me exactly what they thought of my base it was a lot of fun.

So who is up next? I can't wait to grab some more ideas for my bases.

Btw ... as a design note for anyone who's visited my base.

I just (an hour ago) took an item inventory of the Spring Knights base, to find out how many objects have been placed in it. I was kinda surprised that the number was so low ... at 6407 functional and decorative objects. When I add in the max capacity of the salvage racks, vault, enhancement tables, and inspiration storage items, my base can have up to 7157 items (total) in it in the database. I figure this rather "low" number accounts for why the base seems so relatively lag-free when not using travel powers within it to move around.

And for those of you who have been given the tour already ... I think you'll agree that under 6.5k functional and decorative items seems rather low for the kind of styling and decorations I've managed to stuff into the place.

One of these days, I'm going to have to waste several hours taking screenshots just so I can post them here in the forum as a freeze frame virtual tour.

A while ago I said I'd reciprocate the tours given by others here. Well, that time has come, if anyone fancies having a look around.

Both bases are on Guardian; one red, one blue.

I did give a tour to last week which received some nice comments, so I am hopeful that I shan't bore any of you experts too much.

Tours are hard to judge but neither base is huge - I actually re did the layout of both to reduce plot size - so probably 30-60 minutes. Obviously if you wish to spend longer gushing about my outstanding skills, feel free.
